Default Smart Live Casino clicking on my paid adwords search to get my business!

Really didn't think I would see an affiliate manager doing this.

I just happened to be looking at live google analytics when i saw one of my paid google searches was navigating to the contact us page.

I thought that this was a bit strange and yes 10 seconds later I received a contact form message from Smart Live Casino with a generic email asking to promote them!

What Affiliate Manager thinks it's a good idea to click on paid searches? Am I really going to promote them when I have have just paid to receive a very generic spammy email?!

So if you get an email from Tolga Ozturk at Smart Live Casino, you might have paid for it!

It's certainly not the smartest (pun intended) thing to do but on one level I can understand why an affiliate manager would try to recruit affiliates who have the funds, commitment and desire to use Adwords.

However, they should have noted the destination URL and then Google'd that and visited you via an organic search.

Not cool at all. Those clicks are pricey and do add up.

You should also keep in mind that even experienced users cannot tell ads from content many times. Maybe he didn't think it was an ad?

Whenever I want to look at a site that appears on a PPC search engine, I copy and paste the domain name into a new window rather than click on the ppc link. Those ppc links are not cheap.

Maybe an inexperienced affiliate manager (but that still might be considered a good reason not to promote them)
