Yes i think i can!

A: It is a great resource of Backlinks without annoying anyone (e.g. comment spam)
B: Bookmarks are a way for people to recommend websites so it lets Google know how popular you are.
C: Used with other SEO tactics it will defintely increase your SERPS and is extremely unlikely to be penalised by Search Engines.
D: It's cheap for the volume of Backlinks.

And in the interests of fairness:
Can anyone tell me something BAD about Social Bookmarking???

ok thanks. I am getting conflicting reports of how effective Social Bookmarks are, as SEO's at the conference in Budapest were saying that too many social backlinks can get you a penalty. I assume they mean when you are pointing lotsof links at the same article, page, site.
