Social Media Training

Basically my whole setup works around Social Media, Facebook, Google +, Twitter and Any other way i can work with Traffic.

Since i have joined the Forum, everyone has helped me with SEO gaps and moving into the world of Websites.

So i was thinking of doing some Social Media training courses, probably from my offices in Andover! The training would be Free.

Whats in it for me? I love the idea of Public speaking, and doing some further training courses! But right now i am not 100% confident, and need some brutal feedback.

Would this be of use to anyone? Someone suggested the conference, but really not that confident yet.

Just to add, i have over 4m real Twitter followers, and around 6m Over my Facebook pages.

Gary - is that for something other than your SBat site? That has around 21K twits following you that I can see.

Was hoping to look at face 2 face training, but could try online.

The gooner, yes several different types on Twitter and Facebook.

Could only link one of each on the webpage.

Some of my bigger accounts 500k+ work around Google Adsense.

With gambling I have about 20 Twitter accounts and about 50 Facebook pages. Always sharing and pushing the hot page.

I had a PM the other day... Sounded like a boast about 300,000 Twitter followers.. Great.. it really is.. but for those of us that know... Bank balance does the talking... How much money does your 4 million twitter following make you? "i do this for work money, better life etc" i have not had much success with Social Media, I should really make it the new frontier.

Edit: My question is.. Can this be just as profitable as organic? My social conversions are poor.. however is this a throw so much at the wall and it sticks tactic? or do you genuinely profit from Social media?

The two are not mutually exclusive - Not only can you drive good player volume and high conversions from social traffic, you can leverage both your organic and your social efforts off of each other.

Wonder punter not a boast, and the social following makes a very good amount! As FA said above, very high conversions.

I employee 14 now, 12 of these work on gambling social media! So should give you a understanding of how well it does.

It is something i do need to push, I have looked into it.. but most of what I have come across are people touting Social media with brought followers, hence my question about does it make money? it seems like you put quite a lot of time into Social where as I have only pushed Organic, I get traffic from Social.. but low conversions.. I see you are mainly Soccer, have you had any success with the American market?

We tried nfl, but have not pushed much. Would love to try the US market further down the line though.

I'd be interested. I have so much still to learn and I've not touched Social so far. As a one man band knowing where to spend my time to get the best return is one of the things I struggle with, so I'd like to see / learn / hear how much effort is needed for a return as opposed to spending time cultivating natural seo in google, which is where most of my effort goes.

I would also be very interested. I have had a lot of success with with SEO, I would love to also be on the right side of SSM but I just can't seem to get it started.

I would be very interested too. Do you think you can run this via a webinar or something so that everyone here interested could join? I also have one question. I checked some of your Facebook pages and they all have more than 50k likes which is awesome. How did you start off getting to these levels. Did you do any paid Facebook ads or did you generate the likes by posting on other pages and groups.

That is fantastic, I would love to learn from you. I have a few top domains like BettingTips, FootballBettingTips and ArsenalNews that would work well with UK based social promotions I think, but may need help developing as we do mostly US based sites, though we put up the Arsenal site recently and are about to promote on Twitter. Ideas?
