Has anyone else noticed google crawl stats doubling over the last few days? All but 1 of my sites have been getting crawled like crazy the last few days. If history is any indicator I bet we see an update in the next week or so.

They have gone update mad lately, they never seem to stop
There's a panda refresh going on at the moment - I'd guess it's probably related.

Mine crawl stats are normal. However I have seen a sudden positive change in rankings and the number of backlinks in google webmaster tools has been updated so something is happening.
