Default SPAM from GPWA member site - Bonusfinder.com

I got just spammed today from Bonusfinder.com with their Bonus Finder Newsletter. This was their first occurance.

It was sent to an old personal email that I do not use for any gambling signups, opt-ins.

I did not signup to this - I consider it SPAM.
The email was either harvested by bonusfinder.com or purchased from someone who harvested it. I do not consider this very ethical.

A quick Google for bonusfinder.com showed that the site was GPWA approved.
According to the GPWA entry ... The site is owned by Colin Turner ..

SHAME ON YOU MR TURNER !!

The newsletter did have an email removal facility - and I've submitted it so hopefully it will work correctly.
But still ... you've been caught trading / spaming emails Mr Chris Turner ...

Please delete it - and do not sell it on.

Thanks for reporting this incident Gooner. I've checked our approval records and this site is not a Seal of Approval recipient but there is a private member who works on it and possibly owns it.

This behavior was not detected at the time the private member was approved in 2002, and now that it is reported there are some follow-up steps I'd like to take to ensure future emails from the webmaster are conducted in a reputable fashion.

PM sent outlining proposed follow-up by GPWA.

Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

I know this is an old thread but these dickheads are at it again. I just received spam from them to a disposable email address used to sign up to casinos. Interestingly the spam had my name on it so they have undoubtedly bought a list from a casino.

I guess he was an "another lucky buyer" of gambling e-mail database.

I receive so many SPAM, I dont have a time to post every e-mail....

People - dont ever buy an e-mail DB! The chance to get a players are minimum, but a chance to kill reputation are maximum.

Don't try to buy them or sell them either. It pisses off Carusos and other creatures like him.

The laugh is pretty much the whole gambling webmaster world (aside a rare few) ignored the selling on of a player database Uni.

The aff community won't except affs being shafted via Cardspike though.

    Oh no.
