Yes pgaming, you ARE on an island to yourself.....LOL

    Sorry, I just couldn't resist....lol

Hey I don't care what kind of mood you're in.....if ya wanna chew someone out, I can take it.....lol

I totally agree that spam has been on a serious rise lately, but more interesting is that although it has been up and down a bit over the years in my email account that I use for affiliate programs, I have seen a VERY SHARP increase the last 4 to 6 weeks.

SOMEONE has been selling our emails for sure....

I have taken a close look at the spam on more than ONE affiliates email accounts, and I see the pattern however I do not have enough data to determine who has done the selling......

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

    Sorry buddy,

But I have got to disagree with you on that theory.

Yea spam sucks, and I will do whatever I can to help fight it, but will NEVER fight it with spam.....

I seen mail servers choked with spam bombs and it isn't pretty, and never is it right to hurt anyones business just because their mail might be on a server that is being spam bombed because a DIFFERENT client on the same server sent some spam....(that is why it is wrong to fight spam with spam - because innocenbt people end up getting hurt)

I agree to a certain extent. But when the spam comes from a server whose turns a blind eye to such behavior they deserves to see the light. The same applies to the infamous Russian spammer I don’t sit back and contemplate matters much. I return the message making them aware their little silly tricks are not appreciated nor well hidden. It works and the spam stops likely out of mutual respect.

But for the most part I usually ignore most spam what little I do receive 1 or 2 a week.
