Default Sparkling Bingo refuses to Stop SPAM after repeated requests.

For the last 3 months an AM from Sparkling Bingo Jessica.miles@rasrent.com
has continued to spam me repeatedly over and over without stopping.

They are from the Group RASR Entertainment

With each email I have requested kindly she stop and remove us from their sold database lists yet they have refused to do so. This has gone on at least 3 months and has been a couple dozen of emails.

Sparkling Bingo is a disgusting program in my opinion if they think using this approach to marketing can win over affiliates trust and partnerships.

The Spammer Affiliate Program ----> http://affiliate.sparklingbingo.com/

And the site they are pushing Spamming Bingo Site ---> http://www.sparklingbingo.com/

I have requested so many times the stop in each email and they refuse. I have given them the respect 10-12 times to remove us from their lists and yet they continue.

I also got an email from Steve Jones form Rasrent -- http://www.rasrentertainment.com/ the same group who I guess is management who assured me he would take care of this - and that was a month or two ago yet they continued.

Does anyone know where I can officially file a SPAM report of a serious nature? I have got so many of these emails and they are relentless.

Edit: Here is there Facebook Page --> http://www.facebook.com/SparklingBingoUK?sk=wall
If anyone cares to post on their wall to stop spamming. (i do not have facebook).

Why don't you forward the mail to spamcop?

    Hi Renne,

Great idea!! What I have done is contact the host - their legal department, and abuse department. I have given them the IP, emails, a copy of the CAN SPAM ACT of which they are in breach from points 5,6,7

    Copy here : http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bu...guide-business

And I have asked the hosting company to cease email for the publics protection.

I have emailed other affiliates - and i have been told some affiliates are getting up to 10 of these emails per day! They refuse to stop so I have asked affiliates to also file a claim with the legal departments of their hosting company where their name servers are located.

They do not have an opt out link in the email so you cant even opt out.
When you do opt out by emailing them - you get ignored.
Even if its the employee the company is still liable.

I will wait to hear back for their hosting company first - if that does not work i will proceed ahead.

As far as i am concerns the hosting company where their servers are located is now somewhat responsible as well - considering it is reported with ample evidence spamming is ocurring from their IP - if they do not do anything about - I will have no choice but to try and get their IP blacklisted for spam which i prefer not to do.

I just cannot handle all these emails week after week - even after i asked over a dozen times for them to stop. If the company where they host does not get back to me by Friday - I will file a complaint about them as well

Don't post the links to their program in your post. Your are only helping them!

Have you showed them this thread? Perhaps they might be interested.

    Hey Grem,

I understand! but GPWA can rank the term well so its beneficial to link to them (already on page 2 - should get to page 1 soon).

Anyways found some other programs they push..

Been bombarded with this laughable program too. And to what do my wondering eyes would appear? More spam from other bingo programs. So, the list is making it's way around. My question to them is "where the f*ck do you see any bingo brands/offers/reviews/links on any of my sites?"

Hey Chips - yeah so have many other affiliates - and its not really nice that the hosting company has failed to reply in this serious matter. If they refuse to reply within 4 hours I know I am going to take this matter higher up the ladder to have the whole IP BLOCK blacklisted for spam abuse. I really hoe they reply since if anyone knows me they know i will not stop until it is done.

If you have the time email these emails - their host provider where their name servers are located. I have asked other affiliates to do same. I may post this on all the forums this weekend as well and get things rolling. I feel a little upset the hosting company seems not to care how their clients act and whether or they spam 100s of affiliates..

    UK Legallegal@1and1.co.uk

    UK Fraudsecurity-team@1and1.co.uk

    Abuseabuse@1and1.com

The site the mail comes from is ----> rasrent.com (essentially RASR ENTERTAINMENT) - also on same name server - rasrentertainment.com

all listed as part of 1and1 hosting!

Some info : via domain tools - ip address, admin contact and so forth..

    http://whois.domaintools.com/rasrent.com

They are pushing Sparklingbingo.com who is also on the same hosting company but different company name..

Hello Steve, A heads up for you... Sending the same email over and over and over and over again is no way to win friends and influence affiliates. And once asked to stop, for any reasons needs to be adhered to. Your marketing team is making a bad name for yourselves with the current tactics. I trust you all can find a more affiliate friendly way to attract new partners.

    Hi Chips, Grem

I understand your point. Our protocol is also not to contact the affiliate who asked to unsubscribe.

I will look into it and make sure none of those affiliates are contacted again.

Also, if you can please provide me with your site url & email id, I’ll make sure you are not contacted any more in the future.

    Many thanks for your understanding.

    Best Regards

Update! As of today I did get word from 1and1 and so far they have not committed to anything yet. I have sent them another round of evidence for them to look at and informed them their clients are in serious breach of the law. I will wait 24 more hours and then take this to a higher level and file against the hosting company 1and1 if they refuse to shut down this email spamming ring.

I urge all who have been spammed over and over to email 1and1 abuse email to file a claim. Help stop spam!

    Abuse
    abuse@1and1.com

I will not stop until something is done to stop this harrasment and criminal behavour from Rasr Entertainment.

Do the email headers show that the spam is coming FROM their ip's or just advertising a domain on their ip's?

The hosting company is not required to block all mail to and from those ip's, and in fact if it is a very large spamming run the spam is being sent from thousands of ip's.

The most that can be hoped for is the hosting company to push them into stopping the practice or face getting their account and domain being blocked (usually at the dns level).

Now I am not saying this is not effective since it is, but you can NOT force any provider to blacklist an entire block due to spam, unless the entire block is being used to SEND the spam.

If your evidence is strong, 1and1 will react.

The fact that sparklingbingo appears to not be proactive enough in stopping the spam may help force the hand of 1and1 and they could lose access to their site and email and be forced to move it.
