Special StatsRemote Deal for GPWA Members

Working smart is an important part of being a successful gambling portal webmaster. So, today, I’m very pleased to announce a special arrangement we have made with the folks at StatsRemote for GPWA members.

If you’re not familiar with StatsRemote, then let me provide you with some basic information about how it can help you work smarter. First of all, what StatsRemote does is track how your various affiliate relationships are doing. You provide it with the account information for affiliate programs you work with (the information is kept on your own PC in encrypted form and remains your private information). Then StatsRemote monitors the statistics for the affiliate programs you’ve provided, and synthesizes the information for all of your programs together in one place.

So you can then check several times a day, or several times a week, or whatever frequency you want, and see at a glance how you are doing in all of the affiliate programs you’ve fed into StatsRemote. You’ll see right away if no new clicks to a program are being recorded (maybe they changed codes or URL's on you without letting you know), and you can easily see how you are doing with individual programs or on an overall basis since the information is all in one place. The bottom line is that you have a better understanding of what is happening, and you spent a lot less time to get that understanding. That’s working smart!

Details about what affiliate programs are supported by StatsRemote are provided on the StatsRemote website – they support 150 gambling affiliate programs. Also, as part of the sponsor affiliate program enhancements we’ve announced today (See the announcement in the post www.gpwa.org/forum/affiliate-program-detail-page-enhancements-172689.html), we now show if a sponsor affiliate program is supported by StatsRemote by placing the graphic shown below on our details page for the affiliate program. We’ll also be working with StatsRemote and our sponsor programs to try to see StatsRemote support extended to all of our affiliate program sponsors.



So on to the deals for GPWA members. We could have tried to work out an arrangement where we received referral fees or affiliate revenues for members of the GPWA who signed up at StatsRemote. But we decided that isn’t what we wanted to do. Rather, we wanted to make an arrangement where all the benefits of using StatsRemote as a member of the GPWA went to you. And that’s what we have done.

First, we’ve arranged for GPWA members to be able to sign-up to use StatsRemote for free until the end of October. That way you can try it out and see for yourself the benefits before you shell out a penny. And if you decide you want to keep using it (we’re pretty sure you’ll be hooked – we are at Casino City), then we’ve made some exclusive arrangements available only to those we certify to the folks at StatsRemote are GPWA private members. The special deals deliver extra value to you by extending the length of your subscription term for free.

That page shows all of the price information and documents in detail the deals for GPWA members. Using it by the month is the most expensive option, and the rate for that is USD $29.95.

Firstly, I’d like to thank Michael for creating this opportunity for GPWA and StatsRemote to work together and develop this exclusive arrangement that has been announced today.

Secondly, I guess this thread is the right one to introduce myself.

My name is Johannes and I'm the owner of StatsRemote. I've been working in the affiliate marketing area since 1997. One thing that always bothered me was checking all our stats manually. By 2001 my company was promoting about 50 affiliate programs and it took quite some time every day to check and analyze all our stats. I was in the lucky position to have good programmers in my company and in Summer 2001 we started to develop a stats checking software that initially we intended to only use ourselves. Once I used the first prototype I was really amazed at how much time it actually saved me and it wasn't long before we decided to offer this software to the public. In May 2002 StatsRemote was finally released. At that time we supported less than 100 programs and now more than 5 years later we support thousands.

As of now we support 163 gambling affiliate programs and since we release updates every week, this number is constantly growing. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions, experience problems or would like to make a suggestion. If you use an affiliate program that is not supported by StatsRemote yet, just let us know and we will try to add it ASAP. If you have problems with an affiliate program in StatsRemote, just let us know what's wrong and we will try to fix it ASAP.

Please note: It can happen that an affiliate program works properly for some people in StatsRemote while it doesn't work for others. This happens quite often actually, especially with gambling affiliate programs. The reason for this is that different accounts often have different stats formats and in these cases we need to implement several custom routines for an affiliate program to make it work for everybody.

It seems the time is right for me to make my first post too. After many years in the dreaded 9 - 5 rut complete with 3 hours of daily commuting, I finally decided it was time to seek pastures new.

Just 6 months ago, I was fortunate enough to join the team at StatsRemote and I must say I am mighty impressed with the operation we have going here. We are very excited by this tie-up with GPWA launched yesterday and this coupled with a completely new version of StatsRemote coming up towards the end of the year means the future is very encouraging.

It seems like there are some misunderstandings though. There's no need to get your own subscription already. The free trial account will work until October 31 and I think it's a good idea to take advantage of this

For the people that already bought their own subscription, your username already works but we treat your subscription as if it will start on November 1. For example, if you are a Private GPWA Member and got a 6-month subscription already, you actually get 8 months of service and your subscription will be valid until May 31 (1 month free time on top due to the special deal with GPWA and 1 month free time on top due to the free trial running until October 31).

I'm having trouble with MSJVM... Go figure. Can't get it to install, which it should be as easy as doubling clicking my download. I try to install it and find absolutely no evidence it installed. I've tried multiple times, rebooting the computer, reloading Java, etc... I really want to try out the program, but stuck.

Do you know of any plans for StatsRemote to move away from MSJVM? There are many, many questions (and unethical behaviors on behalf of microsoft) which led to the split between JRE and MSJVM. JRE is definitely the more secure and longterm option...

Please try the following:
1. Download the following file and save it in an empty folder of your choosing http://download.statsremote.com/msjavwu.zip
2. Unzip this file. If successful, you will see 15 new files.
3. Double-click javatrig.exe and wait until the installation process is complete.
4. Reboot your PC.

We're in the process of developing a completely new version of StatsRemote which will use SUN Java and which will be multi-platform... will take a few more months though.

The reason why we went with MS Java was that back in 2001 quite a few things wouldn't have been possible with SUN Java and we decided to go with MS Java in order to be able to offer all the features we wanted. Now the situation is completely different.
