Sports Interaction’s betting analyst Al Dannity breaks down the weekend’s big NFL match-ups.

The Jets’ loss to the Packers last Sunday was great news for NFL bettors as it means New York’s finest present tremendous value this weekend. The Jets are just -4.0 favorites for their trip to Detroit. The Lions have taken a few steps forward this season but wins over the Rams and the Redskins do not mean they are ready to hang with the NFL’s elite just yet. The Jets were held scoreless last week but they are still a top-tier team. Matthew Stafford should find Calvin Johnson for some big plays but for the most part I like the Jets’ defense to shut down Detroit’s free-scoring offense. The Lions are going to get a reality check on Sunday. Bet on the New York Jets to win big with Sports Interaction.

The air-raid sirens will be sounding in Houston when the Texans welcome the Chargers. Both of these teams can rack up big passing yards in a hurry and I expect plenty of scores in this game. After an off-night against the Colts on Monday, the Texans offense should be back to normal for Sunday’s meeting with San Diego. The Chargers need to keep mistakes to a minimum in this game if they are to stand any chance of picking up a road win. Statistically the Chargers are dominant on offense and defense but costly errors plus some lackluster performances on special teams have cost them dearly this season. Look for a sharper San Diego team to take the field on Sunday. Bet on the San Diego Chargers as -3.0 favorites to win big with Sports Interaction.

Michael Vick is back in action this weekend for the Eagles and he couldn’t have picked a better opponent for his return. The 5-2 Colts present a stiff test for Philadelphia but they will also give Vick a chance to show his capability as a dual-threat quarterback. The Eagles’ quarterback has rightly been praised for his improved passing performances this season but I expect him to win with his feet on Sunday. Run defense is big weakness for the Colts and the best way to exploit this is to have a signal-caller who can scamper for a big gain while still threatening a deep pass. Indianapolis have done well to make it to 5-2 but they are sorely lacking a supporting cast for Peyton Manning. Bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to win as -2.5 favorites with Sports Interaction.

Monday Night Football sees the Steelers looking to rebound from a dreadful showing against the Saints last weekend. Pittsburgh should get back on track against the 2-5 Bengals. For all the talent and production that Terrell Owens has brought to Cincinnati, the Bengals simply lack the talent around T.O. and Chad Ochocinco to win consistently. Bet on the Pittsburgh Steelers as -4.5 favorites to win big with Sports Interaction.
