Exclamation "Sports Betting USA" Conference Set for Nov 2017 by Clarion Gaming in New York City

I'm suprised there was no mention of this here yet. This is big news considering the situation in the US:

Clarion Gaming announces inaugural Sports Betting USA conference

And you've gotta like a quote like this:

Ewa Bakun, Head of Content for Clarion Gaming, said: “I have been monitoring the evolution of the sports betting discussion in the USA for the last two years waiting for the right moment to offer this conference to the market. As this issue has now become a mainstream one, largely due to the effort by the American Gaming Association and the shifting positions of the sports leagues, and as we’re starting to see operators actually invest to prepare for regulated sports betting through products that are legally viable now, I think our November event will see top level participation from both the sports sector and the gaming industry.”

Probably because online access to sports BETTING is not viable mix in the USA certainly not across state lines.

Apparently, Americans would go giddy with the possible betting options and everyone would "bet the house" and lose it ...
Or some such self-serving twaddle put out by land-based casinos.

Right, so they use the electric bill money for the plane tickets and fly to Vegas or New Jersey and lose the house in person instead....

Okay, well normally I test these things when posting, so I'm not sure what happened there, but I edited that post for the link and here is the link here:

Exactly. It's nonsense, unwarranted, and it goes against basic principles of liberty and opportunity in this country. PASPA is also one of the most egregiously, blatantly and fundamentally unfair phenomena there is, long overdue for correction. Trying to impose or maintain prohibition regarding "online" is like trying to keep people using outhouses and horse-drawn carriages. It's not even true morality, because contrary to what some are obsessed about, gambling is neither intrinsically evil nor is it even a "vice" as some call it. And restricting an entire country in this regard for the sake of a single eighty four year old billionaire makes even less sense. And let's not get started on how well alcohol prohibition worked out...
