Firstly, I hope I’m posting this in the right place!

My name is Craig and I am a freelance sports writer. I currently work as a freelance content creator for BetVictor (and formerly for 888sport too although they have recently changed their marketing strategy), and also write articles for Betway, Betsson and Bookies.com, amongst others. I also write tips and previews for Free Super Tips as well.

I’m here because I have a bit of open space in my diary to take on new projects. Frankly, I love writing about sports, sportsbooks and betting, and don’t enjoy my corporate work as much (I’ve been writing about drain management this week, for example).

If anybody is interested, I can offer you four things as and when needed:

Tips and Previews: my articles are based on stats, form, head-to-head data etc, not hunches, so that they are of betting value to your audience.
Quality Blog Articles: These can be posted on your site or on external sites that then link back to your own. I tap into topical events, an example of a recent one was Transfer Deadline Day, to create readable content that attracts plenty of views and has SEO value.
Guides & Strategies: I can write pieces suited to complete betting beginners or more advanced punters alike. Recent topics I’ve written about include types of bets, guides to Asian Handicapping, different markets etc.
Social Media Management: If you struggle to update your Facebook/Twitter accounts as often as you’d like, let me know!

Football, tennis and cricket are my particular specialities, although I am more than happy to work on horse racing accounts, snooker, darts, rugby union/league and novelty markets too. I’ll even tackle poker/bingo/casino content where required.

I generally charge £0.02p per word - which is a pretty good rate I think for an English native with a journalism degree and a passion for writing about sport, and I’m happy to negotiate this rate for ‘bulk’ writing work. I’m more than happy to discuss one-off projects or long-term arrangements, and can send links/examples of my work on request.
