We have now totally removed them, we scaled them right back in June when they said they were "looking to restructure some of the debt" and potentially sell the UK arm. That was supposed to be sorted by July with Payments promised in the first week of August then the first week of September and now no replies at all.

Looks like they haven't been able to restructure the debt or find a buyer so payments are not going to happen.

Just received this, no surprises there, hopefully they'll pay out what's owed (but I'd be surprised).

Due to market conditions in the UK, we are withdrawing from the market and will be surrendering our UKGC license. The associated brands will no longer operate from 30th November.Once operations have ended after this date and when they are available, please send final invoices to argyllaccounts@eeg.bet.

So... they said to email with any queries:

"If you have any questions about this closure, please contact - affiliates@eegpartners.com"

    This sound about right:

What's even the point in putting out an email like that if the email address bounces?

Craig is a cowboy. Thankfully I never have them any kind of exposure due to his rudeness.

No reply for me either. I think the email requesting final invoices was just to stop people emailing them about payments. I have a strong feeling we will never see those commissions.

They paid a high listing fee, only a few regs and no ftds for a long time. Thank you for reminding me and now they are unresponsive and unlisted from our websites.

I'm assuming no one has been paid their final owed comms yet?

They have turned the site into an aff site now btw. It's not even ASA compliant.

Received the below from Argyll, offering 40% payment, is this what others here have received?

Thank you for your patience whilst we've been having internal discussions on the closure of the UK business. Given the financial position of the wider group, all subsidiaries which includes Argyll Entertainment AG (AEG), currently require sign off by EEG's finance team for any payments or payment plans.

Having discussed this particular debt, EEG's finance team has suggested a 40% payment on the current balance, paid over 12 months, starting on February 10th 2023, and paid on the second Friday of the month thereafter.

Whilst AEG remains solvent, this offer is a reflection of the financial position of the company and the wider group. In the event that AEG becomes insolvent, the company will be wound up in accordance with the legal framework. In that scenario, any remaining assets after taxes and professional fees have been paid would then be distributed equally amongst remaining creditors, meaning the amount received will be less than the above offer.

Please confirm if we can proceed based on the above.
