About LinkBacksEach year my family runs a mini donut stand at the ottawa blues fest and this year mother nature decided to drop by with a massive storm and shut down the festival. During the cheap trick concert and the entire stage collapsed not more then 20 feet from our stand. lightning and thunder continued for awhile and once the electrical storm started we were all forced to go home.

Sorry to hear about your family's stand. Looking at the report and the damage the storm called they are all very lucky they didn't get hurt.

That's really bad luck for that to happen on the last day of blues fest. I saw the video, wow, that what a powerful wind storm! Glad to hear that no one from your shop was hurt. Can't believe it made the stage collapse.

Wow it looks pretty dangerous all that wind! Sorry about the doughnut stand but at least no one got injured!!
