    Default Super Bowl Prediction?

I am an absolute Dallas Cowboys fan, but since we're not in the Super Bowl, I have to go with my "homeboy" Eli Manning and the NY Giants. He will represent for Ole Miss, my alma mater very well, I think.

Plus the fact I despise those cheating NE Pats, it's a no-brainer who I'll pull for in this one. I will get more satisfaction out of NE going 18-1, than anything!

I am a HUGE Cowboy fan too, but being a realist I think that NE will go 19-0. Besides the fact I despise the Giants. Woulda rather seen the Packers go after we screwed up.

Well opnce again I say "next year".

Yeah, I think the Pats have that "intangible" variable where they just seem destined to win the Superbowl (i.e. undefeated season, Seau's return, Moss transforming himself into a decent teammate, etc).

Aww! Lol well. Considering where I'm from it's Pats all the way. The beer is chilling and the wings will be marinating. I know which party I'm going to.

If I were a bettin' gal I would bet Casino City offices at least have some squares going around. Any for sale? lol

    Enjoy the game everyone!

My spreadsheet said the NE Pats by 10-11 points and the bookmaker handicap says much the same thing at 11.5 to 12 points.

According to my stats going back to 1984 a double digit bookmaker favourite wins about 75%-85% of the time.

Upsets do happen - like the Pats (+14 point dog) beating the highly fancied St Louis Rams 20-17 in 2002 Superbowl - but they don't happen too often.

I think the Giants will take this one in a surprising upset.

I'm a Giants fan (as is the rest of my family), so we'll be rooting hard for our boys Sunday. But we're not really expecting a victory. The Pats are the better team, and the spread is just about right. But if the Giants win, I'm going to be insufferable in the Casino City offices Monday.

I can't stand the Pats (sorry Casino City guys)... I am rooting for the Giants. The gambler in me would take NY +12... But honestly, I like the exotic line: NE -2.5 -210

I think that the Pats will win the game, but you'll have to visit my site to see my spread pick! lol How can you go against an undefeated team? That being said are they a double digit cover?? Keep in mind that New England has only covered one of their last eight games ATS.

I am astounded at the attention Brady's gf has gotten. LOL. Even to the point of comparing his girlfriend to all the other players girlfriends (on the other team too). Not Fair to the wives/gf's that have to compete, from any team! I guess that goes with the territory after the (what's her name) oh..jessica simpson thing.

    You go girls.!

Yep, so you'll already know who won b4 you see the game. Bummer. I know you just want it to be a "good game". The only way it will be a good game is if Tom Terrific gets blasted back to the stone age.

On the gf issue, he gets a pass for his kid by the other model he knocked up. Never hear them talking about how he's trying to visit his kid on his off time. I just do not like him, his coach or almost all of the team. Go figure.

Sorry Pats fans. My Cowboys have had their share of convicts, but no one ever accused them of taping the opponent's closed practice before a Super Bowl. That's scummy.

Ah well. Good game anyway. The Pats had a nice run but it wasn't to be. I had a good square at 7-pats 0-giants and I couldn't even get that lol.

There will be some long faces around the water coolers around here tomorrow.

    Good job Giants.

That game was a thrill!! The Giants just went out and beat the Pats up and down the field. Hats off to Eli for making that last drive, representing so well.
