It's sheer madness to self-terminate dofollow links from portals with so high Google value like GPWA in my opinion. If you are no "well known spammer" to Google's AI, not using the signature with every post and create your signature smart, then this is nothing else than self-harm.

I never understood, why Affiliate Guard Dog "terminated" all signature links from dofollow into nofollow. I am sure, they were dofollow in the past. If I am wrong, then correct me please. Perhaps time has not yet come for all forum owners worldwide to recognize, that without writing members their forums are an empty banner farm with Zero value.

It's more for the new site i built, did not want any natural or purposely built links.. I thought most forums were nofollow these day's, I am trying to gauge the true effect of building a content only site gaining only natural links as per Google webmaster guidelines.

Every time I read the word "content" and she/he means it serious, I am very happy.
You need a lot of patience if you go this way, but it can pay off.
