    Default Survey finds California voters opposed to legalizing Internet poker

    Buzzy isn't a big fan of polls and surveys because we're always skeptical of who's asking the questions, how the questions were phrased and who the targeted audience was.

    For instance, how can we take this survey seriously, since it was "commissioned" by several Native American tribes that are opposed

    When those surveyed were told Internet poker is illegal in the state, but thousands of people still play it without consumer protection, 41% supported legalization and 51% opposed. Some 74% of voters agreed that foreign websites that violated federal law by accepting U.S. users should be disqualified from getting a license in California.

    Post Open the Minds

    Just legalize it for a couple of years, with a clause that says it can be illegal if it does not work.

    Test it. Experience it. Conclude.
