I usually book into Canary Wharf, plenty of breakfast/coffee options in the morning and easy & short taxi/DLR ride to Excel. Then at night easy to get a taxi from london city centre back to canary wharf as there is no traffic.

You always have to do a bit more travelling in London, but agree with this as long as you are staying aroubd the main hotel its a short walk and one short train ride to the venue.

I cancelled that. Got an email from the travel lodge today and its £229 for 3 nights here https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/.../02/2022&rooms[0][adults]=1&rooms[0][children]=0 Can cancel right up to the day, or its £191 with no cancellation.

I prefer the location as its 5 minutes from Liverpool Street station where there is a 24 hour McDonald's (Stansted express stops there too). 10 minutes from the DLR and 15 minutes from last years official hotel.
