Default Switzerland considering online gambling regulation

According to RecentPoker.com via Swissinfo, the Justice Ministry in Switzerland will draft a proposal with objective of the licensing and regulating a small number of Internet gambling operations.

Experts say that regulation can generate tax revenue of $22 million a year.

The liberalization is part of a drive to more closely regulate betting in order to combat illegal gambling in the country, and tough restrictions on non licensed operations will be part of the overall plan.

Initial indications are emerging that gambling over the telephone or via interactive television will not be included in the legalization process.

I'm sure they'll be having big problem with locating and pointing their claimed tax subjected online casinos that could be based in the Swiss country.

    Thanks for this ironic updates.
