I'd say that this is a pretty clear illustration of UIGEA being a bit of a failure, even by George W's standards:

Any thoughts?

Hard to believe the U.S. market is still so strong. Five times more than UK.America still has 10 million real money online poker players - more than five times the number of the next largest market, the UK, which has 1.9 million.
Another example prohibition does not work.
There is still money to be made in the U.S. market for affiliates.

In fairness to George W, European countries are all smaller (the UK and France have about 60 million people each, Germany about 100m).
But 10 million players is still a pretty damning figure from a country with 500 million people, of whom a large number will be children, without a computer or simply not interested in poker. And America needs the tax revenue!
