Termination of Operations of Sports Illustrated brand

Dear Affiliate,


We are writing to inform you about an update regarding our services through our partnership with the Sports Illustrated brand. After careful consideration, we have made the strategic decision to realign our focus and refine our business operations by ending our partnership with the Sports Illustrated brand. Consequently, you will no longer receive Commission for any Leads, Money Player(s) or any other new customer(s) that register and deposit with the Sports Illustrated brand following the Effective Date. This decision has been made in line with our strategic plans and will place 888 Holdings Group in a stronger position to focus and accelerate other growth opportunities.


The effective date for the end of our partnership with Sports Illustrated is 17th of May 2024 (“Effective Date”)


We refer to your General Affiliate Agreement with Virtual Marketing Services (Gibraltar) Limited and your participation in our Uffiliates Scheme to market, promote and refer potential customers to us (the “Agreement”).


Pursuant to clause 3.5 of the Agreement, we request that you immediately cease using all Links and/or Licensed Materials in respect of activity in relation to the promotion and marketing of the Sports Illustrated brand.


For the avoidance of doubt and pursuant to clause 5.1 of the Agreement, any Commission due to you for your participation in the Uffiliates Scheme in relation to the promotion and marketing of the Sports Illustrated brand will be amended to zero from the Effective Date and you will no longer be entitled to receive any Commission payments for doing so.


Upon receiving this letter, please promptly remove all promotions and marketing related to Sports Illustrated.


Furthermore, we would like to remind you that all information shared between us (including this letter) is confidential and we kindly request that you treat it as such.


We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your support in promoting our brands. Should you have any questions in connection with this letter, please contact your personal account manager. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition period.

The Sports Illustrated website has laid off almost all of the writing staff. What they have left are editors who clean up ai content. They are also going big as a sports betting affiliate in the US.
