I'm pretty sure the font size has increased, thankfully.
I thought this board was about wood working, before the text got big enough to read
Thanks Michael, the current size is much better, a 100% improvement. Of course you can't please all people all the the time, but I think the consensus is good.
A few people have also commented on the width, it's not ideal right now... constantly moving your eyes so far left and right is tiring for your eyes...
"Research shows that reading slows as line lengths begin to exceed the ideal width, because the reader then needs to use the muscles of the eye or neck to track from the end of one line to the beginning of the next line."
(from : http://webstyleguide.com/wsg3/7-page...ne-length.html )
Fixed width similar to 'that other forum' would be probably be good...

I'd like to thank everyone for the additional feedback. Following are some quotes from suggestions in this thread above and the changes we have made in response to your suggestions.
We decreased the size of the text in the thread overview pages by a point
We decreased the size of the text in the quick response and post boxes to match the text size in completed posts.
While this suggestion would help to reduce moderation requirements for spam since it would no longer be visible, our feeling is that in spite of this benefit the suggested change is not desirable.
The forum used to expand to fill the entire browser window. We put a limit on this based on feedback, and then have reduced it further earlier today based on the feedback from Renee.
We are working on trying to implement that suggestion. At the moment it is proving to be a bit more complicated than just inserting center tags as we had hoped it would be, but give us some time and I'm sure we will figure out a way...eventually.

Thank you Michael. Definitely positive changes.
On thing though. The quick response (and pm area as I just sent one) are still appearing larger than the competed posts. See the attached. I'm using OS X and Safari if that makes any difference.
