Basically his hypothesis is that google use click data in their ranking nowadays and links are not as important as they were. He shows a few examples and you could make a case for it but I think its wrong. Theory keeps popping up every do often though and is really nothing new. http://sphinn.com/story/93908 Matt Cutts says "Without reading the article, I’ll just say that bounce rates would be not only spammable but noisy."
