I noticed today on a couple of my sites that Toptext is hitting a few popular gambling related keywards at the moment, including:

sports betting
sportsbooks
poker

If you have these words on your site...particularly your homepage, you might want substitute them for something else.

You can disable Top text from hitting your site by using the disabler

In the last three months, I've been getting emails from this sender ThatsRacin.com. It's is so irritating. I assume it's a sports betting site, of which I have no interest. Even more irritating, though, is the phone calls to my house. Who is selling the personal information. The only sites that I have visited which would cause this are casinos, so after reading your site, I've figured out how my email address was passed along.

The problem with the phone calls is that it is a recorded telemarketing call for sports betting and each time I block that number from calling, I get the same call from a different number. It's driving me crazy. I tried calling the numbers back to tell them I'm not interested, but get recordings. WHAT TO DO?

I love this site. Three months past I've been going crazy trying to figure out why I'm getting these emails and calls.

You're going to learn a lot of stuff here you won't learn at player boards because we're all portal owners/webmasters. (Well, there's different mix in the public forums - some casinos and stuff out here, too)
