Default Time to get a little silly!

Ok, i am back and feeling great and this forum seems to be a bit boring lately. So, i think we need someone to stir things up a bit! lollll

I want to start a thread about the silliest, or stupidest thing you have ever done. Not just in the gaming industry, in life as a whole. I will start with one of many of my silly and sometimes down right stupid events!

WARNING, CONTAINS MATERIAL NOT SUITABLE FOR ADOLESCENTS! [THIS MEANS YOU UNIVERSAL....lol]

One day back when my husband and myself were dating, he came over for dinner and i wanted to get nice and sexy for him including the bubble bath and douche....but i forgot to by one at the store, so i figured that they sell them in a 'vinegar and water' solution, so i had vinegar in the fridge, why not make my own?........need i say more?

What a mistake that was! first of all, it burned like hell, and second of all, by future husband came over and gave me a kiss and then asked if we were have 'salad' with dinner?

    I almost died reading this..

    What were you thinking Pat?!
    O M F G

Silliest thing I ever did.. I can't post that in case the authorities are watching

The next silliest thing I ever did... I decided to be adventurous with my cooking (I'm actually a very good cook and never follow recipes, but I never cook with chilli)..

I decided to cook something with chilli in it (to boost the metabolism - on a health kick and all) and I chose this recipe that had stuff in it I wanted like chicken and vegies and pasta..

It used chilli powder and said to put a teaspoon in.. thinking that was far too much, I just put half a teaspoon in and it was still too much.. I cried while I was eating it.. and my other half kept telling me how terrible it was, but ate it anyway. He is such a darling.

Well next time you feel the need to do that, let me know and I will talk you out of it.

There is only one thing that should go in there, and it's not vinegar!

Jeeezzzz! A good story always has to have plenty of details... and these have more than enough!!

I remember the stupidest thing I have ever done, it was 10 years ago when I was 17. I had this really important Math test that only came around twice per year! So I studied for this test after school almost everyday for about 5 months before, I hated studying for it and could wait to get it over with!! Then the day finally came and I was sure I was going to ace it! I went to take the test at 10 30 am and when I got there they told me that I was too late, the test started at 7 30 am. I was like " no no no my mom is going to kill me! Plus I have to keep studying for this test so I wont forget everything I learned!" . I obviously got grounded pretty bad for not checking the correct time for the test. It was a low point for sure! Now I always double check everything!

Oh well, you live and learn!

I did something similar, I was running an IT company about 10 years ago, and I had worked the entire night working to meet a deadline, and 830am the next day was an exam. I must have slept 2hrs. 45 mins into the exam.. I fell asleep and started snoring loudly in a class of 60 people. One of the ladies who was montoring the university exams poked me in the ribs and said you cant sleep here. I told her I had passed out. No sympathy. I ended up sleeping and doing the exam for the next 3 hrs. I passed, but I dont remember doing the exam itself.

Gabriel & Rak.......I think you both could of used some cheat sheets, and then you could slept all night and still passed....lol...
Gab,,your so lucky they let you take the test even though you were 3 hours to late....

ok, silliest thing number 2 for me...

I bought my first bag of coffee beans once, and brought them home and through them in the coffee maker and couldn't understand why the coffee looked like water? So i called my sister and asked her, why are my coffee beans not making coffee? She said "Pat, did you grind the beans?"...I said, what do you mean?....LOL....i threw whole beans and expected coffee! lol.....so i decided to take hammer to the bag and grind them myself.....needless to say the entire bag broke open on the first hit and i had coffee beans all over the house!...months later i was still finding coffee beans!

Lol that story reminds me of when I was younger and working in a fast food restaurant. I was in early to stock up and put the machines together, we used to keep the coffee beans in a tub in the fridge over night as the machine would be cleaned each day. So I picked up the coffee beans and filled the machine up. It was only a few hours later when customers started complaining that I realised I'd accidental poured in Mint choc chip pieces into the machine!

I was at my local telephone company's customer care office trying to find out why a refund I was promised the previous month had not been credited to my account. The person I was dealing with really didn't seem to know what was going on. I eventually blew my fuse and in frustration raised my voice and threatened to take my business over to their opposition. Anyway the manager promised to fix it for me and would call me later.

Still fuming, I stormed out of their office wondering why people were staring at me with funny looks on their faces. Only when I got to my car did I realize that I had put my golf shirt on inside out. I felt like a prize twerp.

Here's a funny and disastrous one for me:

A few years back, while I was still single and sowing my wild oats I used to go to a coffee shop not far from my place and try out all their cofees in turn. One of the waiters there was as cute as a button and I used to indulge in some harmless (that's what I thought at the time) flirtation. It came to pass that he asked me out on a date and I though "What the heck, let's try it", right? At first it was ok abut I soon realized that there were some screws missing in that guy's brain. He would sit there for hours going on about his ex and the pain she had caused him by breaking up and his lousy home life and how the world seemed against him - except for me of course. I decided to put a stop to it all before it was too late. Bad idea it was since the guy became over-obsessed with me and started stalking me. Worse thing is that he knew where I lived and would camp out in front of my appartment building for hours. I finally had to call one of my friends - who's a big dude, body-builder type - and have him pretend we were going out together so that the other guy would leave me alone. Downside was that I could not go to the coffee shop anymore.

In my younger, skinner, more handsome days - a coffee barrista once asked me out on a dinner date - I told him no. I found a new coffee shop.
