We have the same problems with Tipico. Our affiliates account was closed and without any reason. Tipico do not communicate with us and do not reply why. We (Bookmakers 2U) have removed Tipico from our sportsbooks rating guide until further notice. Much better betting sites to promote (and make your betting).

    Hello,

and do you know the biggest joke?

Schleswig-Holstein in Germany gave Tipico a Gaming license.

    Source: tipico-group.com/download/293/Lizenz_Schleswig-Holstein.pdf (In German)

About exactly this crazy regulation i wrote an article. You can read it here (in German).

Typical German officialdom. Half-or full-criminals? No matter. The main thing: The money have to roll.

And if you are (German) player or webmaster........

You can't go to the police........................................

    And civil law?
The contract is invalid under German law.

    Tipico knows that.

Sorry webmaster, but you are ineffective...................

    And...

    The terms are interesting:

The commission is settled at the end of the month and credited to the affiliate partner’s account by the 15th of the following month, as long as a minimum amount of EUR 20.00 has been attained. If the minimum commission has not been reached, the entitlement to commission shall be forfeited.
    In German...

Not sure where to post it...

it is really great how Tipico handles change of the banners.

Few days ago, the German banners stopped working, I realised they added "-" into code. NOBODY told anything. All banners stopped to work.

Today I realized they did the same for Italy.

For God's sake... what is the content of their heads? Brain or piece of ****?

if only the world be so easy

they are huge in Germany and they convert like crazy, it is hard to tell now, but they might be better than bet365 there

they told me they announced the downtime via bulletin, but my email was missing ".", but gmail emails do not care about dots...

the text links however tracked during downtime

I am getting around 100 German players monthly so soon I will see if they want to rip me off or not

interesting is that during 2nd month somebody won 17K in casino which erased all wins, but they reset so my account will be a good test; they should pay around 1K for february, I will inform if there will be problems

    Hey guys,

this has nothing to do with closing affiliate accounts but generally speaking, what do you think of the following clause:

Please note that we only pay affiliate commissions above the amount of 20 euros,
as indicated in our affiliate terms and conditions:

    http://www.tipico.com/en/affiliate-p...terms/#agb_VII

3 .The commission is settled at the end of the month and credited to the affiliate partner’s account
by the 15th of the following month, as long as a minimum amount of EUR 20.00 has been attained.
If the minimum commission has not been reached, the entitlement to commission shall be forfeited.

My comission is usually more than that so it is not because I actually had this problem but still, why on earth would they just keep everything up to 20 EUR and take it in their pocket???

Because this can and will affect hundreds if not thousands of affiliates world wide....of course with terms like that WE need to do our part and see that it never hurts thousands, that is one disgusting term.

It seems to be a very predatory clause - I actually had to read it twice to understand they were grabbing the money.

I understand the time costs of having staff paying out small amounts, but the fairer (and more standard) affiliate program approach is to simply accumulate the funds in the account until the minimum payout is met.

I had this once with them and just remembered so I thought I would bring it up when I read this thread. If I remember correctly this month when I wasnt paid due to this clause, my account showed a 65 Euro Net Win! And from that they you are entitled to a 25% total net revenue, which comes down to 16.2 Euros so they didnt pay. I mean seriously? So they earned a straight 65 Euros for nothing right? ... Why would I "donate" that money to them? Imagine this happening to hundreds/thousands affiliates a month, quite a nice amount alltogether.

    No other opinions on this?

Okay, most of you not targetting Germany obviously arent working with them but just for the record: Tipico is huge in Germany for sports betting, advertising everywhere with a great brand awareness, obviously they give a s*** about affiliates and can afford to do so...
