    Default Trade Facebook Page shoutout

I'm looking for other poker webmasters with active facebook pages/groups for a simple shoutout exchange (I tell my 'fans' about your fab page, you return the favour).

Our facebook page has ~260 poker fans - we're looking to grow this by sharing punters with other relevant fb pages/groups.

anyone interested, please PM me - any random likes also mucho appreciated!
    cheers GPWA

Rick, is it good from an SEO standpoint to put that many inner links in one thread? It is adding a ton of value plus great inner links, however I am curious if google will look at that as too aggressive on page seo?

My question may have come across wrong Rick, I did not mean to imply you were trying to manipulate the Search engines. I was just trying to get a better understanding of on page SEO.

Well, to be honest, whatever you do, that "should" always be the answer.

As far as the users wanting to do facebook link swaps, posting the list of threads already going may help reduce the total number of threads growing by large amounts, and also help those interested in them find a larger total number of other to swap with with a lot less searching.

As far as having too many links on a single page, we actually have a few threds here that discuss that, although they are probably quite a few years old. That might be an interesting discussion, and if it interests you, start a thread for it in the seo root forum and get some input.

I personally have a page or two here and there that do not conform to what is acceptable by seo standards, but the few of those pages that do exist, do not exist for Google but for the visitors.

I get confused about the way inner links should work. The way I first learned was each post should contain one inner link (homepage link) in the anchor text to the target key phrase. Another thing I learned is that there should be one outbound link with the anchor text.

Other things in the post that I learned for on page seo was, the key phrase always should be in the h tags, It should be in the image, and it should be in bold, italic, and underlined.

When I read SEO blogs I see a lot of variations, and it looks like the writer it staying away from using links in their anchor text. I wonder, is this because how long the site has been active? If the site is ten years old, perhaps the inner link can go to a link to a page that was written a few years ago that contains an inner link to the home page?

Anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or comments this?

Edgar, part of the issue with a heavy use of links utilizing anchor text, is that too many of these, especially when using the same anchor text gives the engines the indication that the website is attempting to over optimize for that term.

That is considered manipulation and over use of it could hurt more than it helps.
