Anyone been watching Lilyhammer (think it was on in the US last year, but it's on BBC4 in the UK at the moment) - it's a sopranos-esque spin off (although not officially anything to do with the sopranos) that features a charactor very much like silvio going into witness protection and being relocated to Lillehammer in norway.

It's a little slow at times, but actually pretty good. Definitely worth giving a go if you liked the sopranos!

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't heard of that one before.

Just checked out the trailer and the IMDB reviews and it looks pretty cool. Will definitely check it out, cheers

Friday is the most exciting day because it means there will be a new Grey's episode available.. unless it's anything like last week and there will be none

For me, Monday's are the best. You got: Dexter, Family Guy, Revenge, Homeland, The Walking Dead.

Cool site for keeping track of which shows are on each day and when the new season of a tv series will start: http://onmytv.info/

    Walking Dead
American Horror Story (surprised no one has mentioned this yet!)
    Game of Thrones

I'm waiting for Dexter and Breaking Bad to finish their shows, and I'll do a Marathon and watch then all in one go!

Yeah that show is pretty cool too, very creepy!
Started watching it during season 1 but it fell out of the rotation. Will have to get back into it though.

There's a new show out now too called Arrow. I've only seen the 1st episode so far but it looks promising.

American Horror Story rocked. Loved it. Best haunted house plot ever! The characters were insanely good, pun intended.

Watched the season premier Asylum. Apparently each season will be a different venue. I'm happy to see Jessica Lange, fantastic actress. Wonder where this one will take us.

Caught walking dead last night. It started getting slow for me but it's picked up. Not usually into zombies but I'm hooked on that too.

Dexter is great, but I also like Spartacus..not many guys have mentioned it here!

Anyway, what about some older TV shows/series? Which were the best for you so that you keep watching them from time to time? No sci-fi fans here?

Yeah I'm a huge Spartacus fan as well, can't wait for the next season, that will be the last one in the series. The finale for every season so far has been epic, so hopefully they can maintain the quality of previous seasons and the show can go out with a suitably amazing ending.

Some old series that were really good.. Heroes was excellent in Season 1, but it seemed to tail off a bit after that. I feel like rewatching it though for some reason

Also really liked Prison Break up until the final season where it also went downhill, but the first 2-3 seasons were excellent. It started getting frustrating watching it during season 4, but by that stage I'd passed the point of no return and had to see how it would end

I've heard The Wire is a top notch show from a few people but I only watched the first 6 or so episode and it seems a bit slow. Might check it out again at some point though and try to get back into it. It's rating on IMDB is like 9.8 or something so it must pick up a lot.

And one more, not sure if anyone else is into Korean dramas but I watched one with my wife called The Greatest Love. It's a rom-com style drama with 20 episodes and has some very funny moments in it

I feel the same way. I saw the first few seasons in a very short period, because I so hooked.
Shame that Lane Garrison was connected to a car crash where a teenager was killed. He is probably planning his own prison break now.

Yeah I watched all 4 seasons with my wife about 6 months or so back, I'd heard how good the show was when it came out but never gotten around to watching it so it was good to have a Prison Break marathon and watch it all over a couple weeks. Something you notice when watching it all in a short span is how much Wentworth Miller changed in Season 4 as well. He was so skinny in season 1, he looked heaps different in Season 4!

Had to google Lane Garrison didn't know who it was from the name, read the story just now that's pretty bad. He needs to go get some tattoos of the prison map maybe? :P

It's interesting how some of the actors from Prison Break are in other popular shows right now, I noticed a few of them in Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy.

Did you ever see the Prison Break - The Final Break special?
It was like a mini series showing what happened to Sara and the lead up to what happened in the final episode.
I actually enjoyed that more than Season 4 and it was a better ending to the series.

Laneís character was sexually abused in the series. I wonder if he is going through a similar ordeal. He better start digging!

I completely stop watching the series after they escaped. When I get put off by a program, then I donít really go back to watch it again but when I love one I can watch it over and over again like CSI Las Vegas.

Simpsons... Even though watching some of the first season still isn't fantastic there are so many episodes that still leaves me cracking up on the couch... What did people actually do before the Simpsons?

Family Guy is one of my top 3 fave shows. There are a few of us in the office who are constantly referencing it. It's constant laughs. And you can watch the same episodes and still laugh just as hard.
    I love it.

Consuela is my fave. My 14 year old brother does her voice perfectly.
