Default Twitter guide for sportsbetting affiliates

Most affiliates are just going through the motions of using twitter and have it just on autopilot with no effect. This article shows how some sports affiliates are getting the best use out of Twitter and are collecting followers, retweets and traffic, and probably conversions.

Thanks to Niall from digitaldestinymarketing.com for the article

    Interesting article.

Football results and football scores are BIG traffic source BUT are not a big conversion path for new accounts.

Agreed. Twitter generally isn't a conversion tool, its an important communication tool though. Its hard to define success with it in general, but its become an important aspect of communication and trust.

Care to name one? Have talked to dozen of people with various followers, ranging from 1k to 20k, not one has said that Twitter is the sole platform for conversion. I'd be interested to look in their profile, if you throw around a name or two.

This fella seems to be doing alright; https://twitter.com/FootySuperTips?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Although he’s got a good site and is really active on facebook too.

I checked out one of his links that he posted on twitter https://bitly.com/Bet365200Free+

Nearly 197K clicks on that link alone, all going to Bet365. I’m a complete noob so I have no idea what the conversion rate on that would be, but surely that’s pretty good?

Even taking all that into account they are still good numkbers and I would imagine that the conversion is pretty good as well.

Yet he struggles to get more than 1 favorite??? Strange huh? Twitter is one of the easiest systems to game with bots

He does have retweets and favourites, depending on the tweet. Account is not that bad, but you can see that he plays with bot and it is risky. Not worth it. But they do interact with other followers which is great

They have bots - account which are fake, just made to add number to followers, make retweets etc. They are not actual human who retweet etc. You can program your own software so you get your post retweeted by your own bots etc.

Thanks for explaining, I understand what you mean now, although I'm 99% certain that account isn't doing that. Yuo only have to click on the rt's to see that the accounts re-tweeting are genuine added to this that this is for sure the biggest football tipping account on Twitter.

153k followers and roughly 10-20 retweets per post some of which get 0 interaction at all, is that normal? I guess not.

Its interesting when you click into one of the followers...one for example - follows 14 accounts, posts 2 tweets then 93 retweets.
Out of all the followers what percentage of the total would you say are bots?
