The Buzz has friends in the U.K. who keep saying pack your bags and move to London. And given the U.K.'s increasingly friendly attitude toward online gambling, it sounds tempting. In next month's budget, Chancellor Gordon Brown is expected to introduce a Remote Gaming Duty in his next budget (in March). This would allow online casinos to stay offshore, be regulated by the U.K., pay a 2-3 pence tax and avoid the hefty VAT (up to 40 pc depending on size). Online gaming firms have been pretty receptive to offer. Go U.K. Go U.K. Go U.K.
