    Default UK Gambling U-Turn

Looks like the UK Government under the new leadership of Gordon Brown may be making a u-turn on gambling!

This just seems to be about the Super Casino in Manchester ... so far ...
I noted "plans for 16 new smaller casinos would be unaffected."

Difficult to see the UK heading back to prohibition though - and I also noticed that the shares in companies that already owned casinos actually leapt ... I guess due to their perceived monopoly advantage ?

    Thanks for the heads-up.
