Marcus Boyle, a former strategy chief at an accountancy firm, has been chosen by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) to replace Bill Moyes as chairman of the Gambling Commission, according to a report in the Sunday Times.
An official announcement regarding the appointment is expected this week.

Boyle, 55, is reported by the Sunday Times to be "a more neutral appointment" to the commission, which is contributing input to the government review of the Gambling Act.
