Normally I want to have weekend, but one thing did not leave me in peace.

    AffEurope
's 2nd program was and is still (with sign-up possibilities for webmasters) affbinary.com

    Go to affbinary.com/aboutus/ (Public information!)
Scroll down, and you'll see some rounded photos.
    Click on the 9th photo.
Peter Wiersma - Affiliate Director (Public information!)

    Go to il.linkedin.com/in/peterwiersma (Public information!)
Of course, you'll see entry "Affiliate Director AffBinary", but the latest entry is "Head of Affiliates IbexNetwork". No comments!

Go to his Facebook account (The url is public, and if you have also a Facebook account, the information are public!) facebook.com/peter.wiersma
You'll see with the photos of Affbinary and Facebook, that it's the same person.
His Facebook chronic: "Affiliate Director IGMD"
He is writing on Facebook on 18. Dezember 2014 Little Tel Aviv:
"Driving away for the last time from IGMD - driving towards a new company - The Future"

    "Affiliate Director IGMD"
    igmdltd.com
"Founded in 2001, IGMD Ltd provides complete Online Marketing and Business Development Solutions to clients worldwide."

    13 January 2004

The IGMD, self-promoted as “the innovative online marketing agency,” [...] has announced in a press release the launch of its new affiliate program, GamingPromo.com [...] GamingPromo.com “brings together under one roof all of the tools and resources that a webmaster needs to run a successful affiliate campaign.” The company also said that “GamingPromo has created a quality affiliate program, partnering up with some of the leaders in the online gaming industry, such as veteran City Club Casino
    Source: igamingbusiness.com/igmd-affiliate-prog

"GamingPromo [...] partnering up with [...] City Club Casino"

Enter gamingpromo.com into your browser and load this url!

    Any questions?

    ---

The data in this post for me is proof, that the people working at AffBinary have knowledge about the dirty actions from AffEurope, because the connections of at least the affiliate director are going straight to the casino section too as you can see. The people from AffBinary can't say, that it's a "different company" or "different department". And you can see with this example, this industry is everything but open-minded, honest and transparent towards (especially) the (small and medium) webmaster.

And no one can be surprised if governments are doing everything to stop online casino business. No wonder, if some programs and their strawmen acting like the Mafia.

If you were suspected as mis-handling personal information in the UK like this then you would be subject to sanctions under the Data Protection Act. It seems that other countries just do not have much in the way of data protection laws. Either that, or they're not stringently applied.

I would never sell on or pass on a personal details list, not even just email addresses (and I have offers every week to purchase my mailing lists!), because if it came back to me I'd possibly be doing jail time. It seems a lot of casinos, affiliates, and other operations not based in the UK seem pretty happy to lower their tactics when it comes to making money and getting sales.

I know we all get these unwanted contacts all the time, but if we expose these people on the forums then the effectiveness of them taking stolen/copied/bought mailing lists will become ineffective. This morning I've had unsolicited emails from these two guys, check out the arrogance of the second:

Hi xxxxx, It was a pleasure meeting you at the conference.

FunKeyword SaaS tracks, optimizes and auto bids for you on RTB advertising platforms such as TrafficVance & 50onRed.

If you want more information about FunKeyword or assistance with Real Time Bidding please feel free to email me directly.

It does seem very odd I get 3 emails from different binary guys within 30 minutes. Perhaps you’re all working together off the same copied/acquired mailing list?

    Hi,

    I believe we did,

Otherwise I wouldn’t have had your contact.

Have you done any binary offers?

Had exactly the same email from Funkeyword.com this morning, 100% spam as I didn't even make it to the conference in the end.

Thinking next time I go to an IGB conference to register with a different name, unique email address, and have separate email addresses @ my company to channel out the spam and see where it's getting passed on. Friend of mine uses a new email address for every different thing he signs up to, all channelled to the same forward ultimately, but at least he can see then when a company or organisation has leaked/sold/passed on his information without his consent.

It is pathetic that one has to go through such troubles to protect themselves.

I've even had physical business cards find their way into the hands of people I never gave them to.
