    Default Upaycard is holding my Bank wire for 880 - 2 weeks now

    I have been a customer of Upaycard for over a year. To be fair, up till now it was excellent. I used to receive BTC payments and it was the easiest way to convert the crypto to euro. It was working like a clock. Till my last withdrawal request on July 8th, 2019.

    I started worrying, when my money did not reach my bank account within 3 days, as it used to be. Checked Upaycard account and found out, that money has been deducted, but my transfer is on pending status.

    Customer support first were saying that it takes 3 days, not including the day transfer was requested to process. Fine. On Friday, July 12th I got in touch with them again, asking to check the status. Agents this time said your transfer will be done ASAP. Came Monday, the same story - your transfer will be done ASAP. Later that week, agents have changed their story and this time the funds where held because

    Our bank is doing compliance verification of our account, this is an ordinary check. This is the reason why the transfer is delayed
    I asked when the funds will be sent out

    Unfortunately, Costumer Support does not have an estimated time frame. Once the funds are sent out, you will be notified via email
    I have tried to request a refund of my money. As I have exchanged BTC to Euro I was asking if I can have refund in BTC.

    10:32:29 Patricia : I mean we can cancel your bank wire transfer and funds will be reversed back to your account but you can not exchange them to BTC now

    Asked when the upgrade should be finished - agent could not provide any more information.

    So, basically

    Your funds are held for 2 weeks with no explanation
    You can not get back funds in BTC, as currency exchange is under upgrade
    Your funds are safe in your account, that what agent says, but you can not withdraw - doesn't make any sence.

    It seems that it might be a good while until I will get my money, if I get it at all...


    - ANYONE IS THE CUSTOMER OF UPAYCARD AND IS IN THE SIMILAR SITUATION?

    MOORWAND HAS SOLD UPAYCARD TO PAP ONPOINT SERVICES LTD - ANYONE HAS ANY MORE DETAILS OF THE SCAM SCHEMES MOORWAND IS INVOLVED?

    ARE THEY STILL REGULATED BY UK's FINANCIAL REGULATOR?

    Briefly supprted UPayCard. Very briefly. Worst customer support. Debit cards always fail after a short period of time with no date on new cards. Currently no ATM option at all. PayPal/e-wallet exchange has been disabled forever with zero word on it working. Constant rejection of valid government-issued documentation that is accepted everywhere else. Only e-wallet I've ever known that refuses to provide a list of accepted or excluded countries "for security reasons" and we had to get it from a casino working with them.

    UPayCard make Skrill/Neteller appear professional, and that takes some doing. Worst e-wallet ever.

    ETA: if you're in Spain as indicated, I recommend ecopayz/ecocard as a better alternative if not already using.
