Update Content on Front Page - How Often?

I update some of my front page content at the beginning of each month. Is that enough or should it be done more often?

most will tell you more often... twice a week at least...

a new winner of a grand prize in a holding you own... a small alert of some update in an old review that is not really current user friendly material, one small article that cover a small target term that may help your traffic, you can also check your logs in server and get a list of keywords you are not targeting but that are driving you some traffic that can give you new ideas also...
