URGENT: WP Creating and Publishing "Page" Problem

Hi All

I have been using WP for some time and admit that it is an awesome platform ! But today, i have got a dummy problem of "can not creating a "Page". I mean i am selecting "Add New" under "Pages" menu. And then filled the content then hit "Publish" button. But after i checked it from my site it says

"No Results Found The page you requested could not be found. Try refining your search, or use the navigation above to locate the post."

You can find the attaached screenshots. What am i doing wrong ?

Thanks a lot for your urgent help

Sorry I couldn't stop myself......

I got postitis today since all the really thoughtful posts I have written all went into lala land when I clicked submit....

:) thanks a lot but i still need help

Are you using a url re-write module?

If so try disabling that and see if it fixes the issue.

It could be there is a problem as it tries to save the page.

If that isn't it it sounds as if it might need reinstalled or it could be a folder permissions issue also....

If you are using permalinks this needs to be in your .htaccess

Code:

---

# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>

# END WordPress

---

If you re-save permalinks from the admin page, wordpress will re-write it on its own. This can also be cause by a special character in another language and stuff. I have problems with Cyrillic and despite wordpress trying to fix it, it still on their list of bugs.

If you have installed any recent plugin, try disabling them. Will not be a bad idea to give us the exact shot from the admin post page, so we can see the URL name and etc.

Regards

Thanks a lot guys. It is OK at the moment. It was related with the permalinks term. Now it works fine.

Hi

Thanks a lot for the comprehensive information. Problem is over with permalink parameter change at the custom selection. Anyway many thanks.
