Any of MJM's (relevant) sites
But there are a number of other members sites here that will be similarly good.
Or if you want to do the leg work yourself, find the local regulatory body website for each state.
Yes, yes! Flood the regulated US markets with competition. Muahahahah :)
The conferences put on by the various different event organisers nearly always have a US section, sites like EGR/Gambling Compliance have up to date news on the legislation and I'm sure you check back issues of GPWA there must be something about the US in there.
Wanted to pop in and say thanks for the compliments everyone, means a lot - we are a small team in a David and Goliath scenario competing against huge media companies.
In addition to our site, BettingUSA.com, for state legislative news - as much as I hate to mention them, LegalSportsReport and SportsHandle are top sources of information - I'd say they cover every single detail (bills passing a committee) whereas we prefer to wait for substantive developments and take a deeper dive at it.
US market is growing at a rapid pace - room for everyone, and I"m sure the whole affiliate world is making plans to enter the market now that it's a sizable market. We aren't getting rich over here ourselves, but I hope that changes :)
As a random note - we setup BettingUSA in late 2013, a side project at the time while we were fully focused on UK/Europe markets. Looking back, I wish we had went harder at it - because being early is a huge advantage.
If anyone ever has any questions - I'm happy to have conversations. Drop me a line anytime, I've gotten so much from GPWA over the years this is probably my only chance to give back a bit. Allaboutthebets is also very knowledgeable with the market - we've helped each other through licensing issues in the last year, would be happy to do the same for GPWA members.
When you source info and news - just remember to link to the little guys once in awhile, don't help the rich get richer with the big boys :)
I deliberately didn't mention those two, Mike. But kudos for doing so.
And great point about early advantages - I'm gutted I registered (what I think is) a lovely relevant domain (specifically with the market in mind) 4/5 years ago and didn't tackle it head on much earlier.
