I would say I need more details before I would put any value on it.

Details I would need to know:

    - What type of customers are these, what method/sites did these customers come from?
    - What is the historical performance of the account for the last 12 months, i.e. I'd be wanting to see monthly stats of signup amounts, deposit amounts, betting turnover, active account numbers and end of month commissions.

The main reason I'd be wanting these would be to answer the question of, are these good customers or bad customers, am I going to make money from these customers or are they going to dilute what I already have. As you say the account has a minus 2600 Euros commission at the moment, the above questions would answer whether this has been a historical negative or whether it is just a blip.

As far as I'm aware you can't merge Bet365 accounts, so it has to stay as a separate entity. Pretty sure that's what they said last time I asked anyway.

So 13,500 is the total net profit for a commission of 4,050 (at their base rate of 30%), right? Or is that commission?

Depending on the answers to a few other questions such as how you are driving the accounts (eg: what site is it), and actually seeing the raw month-by-month stats you're probably looking at a value of roughly around the 3,500 to 6,000 mark minus the negative balance.

I'd still be interested to know monthly signups, e.g. January 2014, 55 signups, 35 deposits etc.

e.g. if all the customers were from the last few months they would have a higher value than if they were gained a while ago as there is an inevitable drifting off.

    answer is still extremely hard

depends on other things.. for example for me would be very interesting to see:
    - website(s) from which the traffic came
    - if the account is in good standing with bet365 and they would approve the transfer
    - if the domain, that was used, is part of the sale
    - active customers in June, July, August
    - countries, where the customers are from

Dependng on those answers I would pay anything between 0 to 50 EUR per new users who have entered money

The 50 E I would pay only if the traffic comes from the best countries (CA, AU, west and northern Europe), the bet365 would have no problem with the transfer, I would get the domain/site with the deal and the driftoff would be small/retention high.

Alternatively I would rather pay up to 150 E for every active customer in the month of August 2014. (The number is unknown).

I am not telliing I am going to buy anything, but those would be my borders.

There is no problem with the affiliate account, I have a very good relationship with bet365 and my account manager knows that this sale and there is no problem with the transfer of account.

Users are 97% Spanish players and 3% are from Uk.

The domain is not for sale, only the affiliate account, users come from a Spanish forum bets with good traffic and good reputation.

I see. Then I would reduce the offer for half [75 E per active player in August]. Bet365 is strong in Spain and regulated (=good perspective for player longevity), yet the economical situation of Spain is not like in the richer states of europe.

I really do not know what is the value. I would probably pay 75 EUR x {number of active customers in August}.

Because I would go for the deal - and there is always some risk connected to the deal (for example if an established member of this forum would offer the deal, I would pay more) - I of course think the value of the affiliate account is greater than what I would pay.

I am not sure why you are asking about the value. As raw benchmark of value of the affiliate account is good to use CPA rates of Bet365 competitors.

thanks for the replies, but pay only active users in August makes no sense, this month many have been on vacation, the account value is entirely due not only for a month.

It is how I would value the account. The ppl on vacation are counted in from my perspective. Many good gamblers at Bet365 do not stop betting even during hollidays. League start is always an incentive to redeposit. Actually I already have record month this August. Other people might have other and probably better estimations. I am not an expert in flipping affiliate accounts.

I just said for how much I would be a buyer. If you do not like to have a benchmark that is too low, then rather do not ask in public.

Main thing you haven't answered is which site the users came from and which offer types/landing pages. This is all important really to know what type of bets these people are likely to do.

Seems like a lot of the acquisition was driven 6 months or more ago. Not necessarily a problem if the accounts are active and Bet365 have great retention, but it does change things.

Can you give revenue figures for the past six months only?

(and also let us know where the accounts are coming from, even if it's only the theme/type - eg: free bets / tennis betting site etc..)

Of course more info is needed to know how exactly were the players caught and what forum it was.
