Exclamation Vegas Affiliates Major Screwup - Urgent to all affiliates who promote them!

I originally posted this in the Audits section not realizing it was in the private forums. Some very disturbing news here!

I am placing this in audits in hope that those who promote Vegas Affiliates will check their account information.

I was re-formating my slots page today and was testing links after I did all the moves and changes. Then I went to the affiliate pages and made sure that my clicks registered as well.

When I got to Vegas Affiliates, I saw a new deposit for today, like anyone would do I ran a report on it. Well, I then seen a good bit of cash due me and supposed to be paid to Payspark. Here is flag one... I do not have a Payspark account. So I go to the payment details and see it is actually to be bank wired to a bank account in Florida. Flag two... I live in Virginia and bank in NC.

So I go one level deeper and see that the personal information is not mine but is listed to another affiliate who lives in Florida.

The stats show commissions on properties I do not promote. Payments I never received, website information that is not mine, personal data that is not mine, banking info that is for this other affiliate.

I think they (Vegas Affiliates) really boned this up when they changed the software. I have no clue who can see my personal information and who is getting paid for my links.... well I guess it would be the person who is listed as the affiliate attached to my account.

I did promote a bunch of these back in 2007 but have only promoted Vegas Slots in the past 1.5 years.

This is some really scary **** here. I would highly recommend that anyone who promotes Vegas Affiliates brands to go NOW and check your information. If it happened to me, it could happen to you!

I have removed ALL content from my site pending an outcome of this. No sense working for someone else. Whoever that may be...

Very strange I wonder who has your loot Chips?

VA I am sure will have good answer "we screwed up when updating our data bases" lol. Nothing mapped over correctly I can hear it now.

I am glad it has been posted on the forums, This should never happen. No matter what reason there is for it. Red Flags are now in full force.

Obviously this is being taken very seriously. However we have never had anything like this occur previously and we are unable to address these concerns or comment before we are provided with an account ID to carry out an investigation into this.

We would appreciate some direct communication so that we may look into the matter.

    Thanks,

I emailed your affiliate team first last night at 19:32 eastern! The mail was sent to Yvette[at]Vegasaffiliates.com that was what mail was listed @ the affiliate site. I provided my account name and asked for a response and told you when you could reach me by phone.

I posted here so that my fellow affiliates would be aware that they too may have an issue.

Just log into the software and check your personal details and payment details. I had another affiliate's address and banking info listed in my account.

I think it would be a great idea to UPDATE the listings here. I got the email address from the VA listing here. As the auto reporting at VA would not work for me I took the 2nd route to contact them.

    Hey Chips... Good job man.

Much appreciated the updates on this, as it was one brand i was considering.

That is some scary stuff having access to another affiliates banking informations and address and everything.

I know from my own personal experience with a rogue(shaddy) program last time giving out my personal bank details was a huge security breach.

This is anther example of how your identity and banking details get shared..

From then on, i decided never to trust giving out my own bank details.

Its either Money Bookers or Pay Pal for me. Nothing more ever!!

To risky with the likes of whats out there ...

Hope it gets fixed for you fast chips... and again thanks for sharing.

Im glad They are on it... I am sure it will get fixed sooner rather than later. GL
    Steve
