Vegas Affiliates - whats up?

Whats up with Vegas Affiliates these days? They are operating shop like they are eager to go out of business. Slow support, dishonest/misleading responses, no responses, slow payments, no payments, stats up - stats down, links up - links down - it seems anything that could go wrong is going wrong. Surely something you might expect from a new program, but they have been around long enough to not fall into those traps.

Over the last few months I have received several complaints that they are numerous months behind in making payments; I had never had an issue so I wasn't sure what to make of the complaints. Well now it's hit home; I too am getting the payment run around.

On 06.12.07 Max told me May payments would be sent the week of June 22nd.
On 06.29.07 Max told me May payments would be sent that day (29th) or the following day (30th)...
On 07.04.07 Max informed me that my ecocard data had been lost (how convenient) - I helped him remember it.
On 07.11.07 Max told me that the payment would be sent today (11th) ...
--- 07.13.07 still NO payment.

Somethings going on with Vegas Affiliates; though they always were one of the last to make payments, 2, 3, 4+ months behind schedule is out of the norm.

I know a lot of affiliates (including myself) are usually content with getting a late payment because it eventually does show up and for some its actually a nice sized payment. But, there's a proverb of sorts that says you get what you settle for - not sure about others, but personally, as a valued partner, I don't think I/we should have to settle for it.

... anyone have any insight as to whats going on? Sadly, I can not seem to get a honest / accurate response from them.

I agree it is important to make your concerns known and consider responsiveness when determining partners to work with. I am following up with Max on specific issues raised about Vegas Affiliates. I received an email a earlier - of course it contained another promise that the payment should arrive this afternoon; we shall see.

I posed the following question to Max > "What is Vegas Affiliates going to do to reassure affiliates that it can be a trusted & valued partner?" I haven't yet received an answer, but hopefully they can get things back on track and running smoothly sooner than later.

This is definitely an issue (along with those related) that I will pursue until such time they are back on track.

I always receive my commissions with the delay of course. But they are still my top affiliate program.

Hi again all,

can somebody log into VA and see where their reports page ...... notes the last date they were paid and how?

very sad/frightened/delighted/and kinda freaked ......... to see my last date of payment that is noted in their reports is Dec 2005.

???

Now I don't think its been that long ...... but am very curious what others might see ..... because if everybody else is showing near to ...... Oh lets say within the last 6 months .... just to be fair ..... they still owe me a nice chunk.

if you show an up-to-date payment on your reports..... then I'm wanting my payments since 2005 Dec...... and trust me.... that's gonna cause some serious need for alkaseltzer with somebody at VA ...... assuming they intend to make good on their debts.



Please note ...... I really don't think its that big a stretch...... but I do think they owe me for a ways.... quite a ways ..... back.

Some get it some don’t I often wonder why? Tell me the game and I will play. Historically VA is nothing more than another poor excuse. Just my opinion, which I doubt, counts for much.

and such action would surely help your positions for promotion..... but would think thats a no-brainer. .... but felt it needed to be said........ elsewise .... I probably wouldn't have had to add the last two paragraphs to begin with........
