Violation of GPWA code of conduct - Spamming personal email (PRIOR OWNERS)

I ask the GPWA to please strip this groups sponsorship for gross violations of GPWA code of conduct with the use of SPAM. THis has been an issue with them and there is history here.

They have now violated my privacy by emailing my personal family email address.

I officially ask GPWA to implement some sort of accountability for this programs actions.

I suggest a vote for removal of their sponsorship status on the grounds they are i violation of the GPWA code of conduct and gross marketing practices (UNETHICAL)- SPAM.

1. Responsible Promotion and Procedures
   
   Sponsor Companies will be truthful in all promotions and publish only accurate information about their operations. Any rules and registration procedures affecting affiliates or the public will be made publicly available by the Sponsor Companies. Sponsor Companies will not use unethical methods of promotion either directly or indirectly through others.

Note: - They have used my personal family email address this time. Nothing in the WHOIS! - This is fact. Almost no affiliate program has this email of mine - its my personal email for family and a few selected AMS - its obvious it was sold by some group i trusted. An AM most likely.

Nir has finally crossed the line and i want immediate action please for my protection and invasion of privacy.

I get the same email multiple times a week, just delete and move on. If memory serves (as I deleted them all) he will go through all my sites and send the same annoying mail on a weekly basis.

I've sent a message to Integra Partners about this. Because questions about legitimacy of an email source almost always require checking into specifics, I've sent a PM to GFPC asking for the address that he received the message to in order to help identify what happened.

Hey Guys,

Nir is an aggressive affiliate manager, but he is by definition NOT a spammer. You see where the emails are coming from, and who is sending them. He has a quick follow up rate on emails. If you have no desire to work with Intpar, just reply and let him know that. He will remove you from hjis follow up lists.

I want to know how he got my personal family email address and how does he know my first and last name?

I want to know and i want to know NOW.


Its totally uncalled for to purchase lists and blast out these emails. My email address he used this time is a real personal email - no where in the whois.

Jonathan above was nice enough to take care of this and find out how my very personal email address was given to his rather underhanded employee Nir who has been mass emailing several affiliates.

Apparently from what Jonathan has told me via PM - Nir got my email address from another Affiliate Manager. Since only 4-5 AMs have ever had this email address ever (selected AMs) I will for sure be able to track this down. I am going to be on this until I find out.

If these 5 AMs say they have never given Nir my email address - I will demand Nir share the source who is dishing out affiliate emails to him and this program who are using them for purposes of marketing.

Once i find out i will post here and if I dont find out i will ask Nir to man up and come here and apologize for his behavour and share his source.

GPWA please follow up with Nir please since he is getting emails from other AMs (not sure if they are bought our sold) but its still not appropriate.

This was a very personal email address that only a very select few had!! I would hate to think one of these 5 Ams have given him my email address.

I had to ban their entire domain from our mail server ,Steve if it helps you find out source , one email came to the name of a girl who stopped working for us in October 2007 so it was a REALLY OLD list.

Yeah I am not sure its such an old list since he is sending his "Pure Junk" to all my sites email addresses. He is attacking us on all levels - via my own personal email addresses, my family email, all my sites (new and old). I have got them almost weekly and he will not give up.

Similar to Dan Varley who was another guy who just did not give up for months. He final shut his trap a few weeks ago.

I just can't stand coming home to see this guys emails. Its pathetic really for this AM to use these sold lists of ours to try and get us to push this brand.

I would of considered it if he directly contacted me with a nice email of a personal nature. Instead he blasts us with this crap and expects to get a positive reply? No way.

To me its borderline internet abuse and for me - him sending me emails to my personal email address is a real invasion of my privacy and I take this serious which is why I asked GPWA to revolk their $ponsorship here.

Its really getting old around here with gpwa ignoring threads. I know I'll get the response of "We're working on it" or "These things take time"....pfffffft. Irregardless of how much sponsor money they paid this is wrong and ought to stop immediately or their sponsorship revoked and they go to the rogue pit. Enough is enough.....GamTrak got hammered with several emails too. If affiliates want to work with your program they'll do it without being slammed with emails. For me.......you slam me and I will NEVER work with you.

I've been watching the thread. It isn't a case of ignoring it or follow-up taking time, but that it appeared to have come to at least a temporary resolution. The last update before yesterday was that GFPC had communicated with Jonathan about the problem and received the requested explanation. I also subsequently spoke with Jonathan to confirm that.

The last point following that was GFPC would check with his contacts to find the affiliate manager who was sharing information with Nir. And that was where I believed the status rested until yesterday.

The update from yesterday tells a different story - that it isn't resolved like it had looked earlier. Since the situation has changed, I am giving Jonathan another call to alert him that the problem is continuing (it is after their office hours currently, but will be calling tomorrow at start of day).
