Virginia's governor signs nations first DFS law

The bill, which was approved by the Virginia legislature a few weeks ago, makes Virginia the first state in the nation to impose state-led oversight of the industry. The state's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service will be the state entity that oversees the industry.

Ah yes, a world where fantasy football is overseen by an agriculture department. Government FTW.

Re: Agriculture department, to give them credit, it's a little more complicated than that since that department handles such a ridiculously wide range of things, and it doesn't really look like there was any other option that was better.
