There are 48,782 foreign employees who work for Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGO) that had licenses revoked by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor).
Because of this, these employees are seeing their visas cancelled by the Bureau of Immigration.
According to a member of the Department of Justice, there are more than 350 foreign nationals that are set to be deported either this week or next week.With their visas cancelled, the foreign workers will be ordered to leave the country in 59 days. Those who remain beyond 59 days will be deported. The cost of departure will be shouldered by the workers themselves.
