Default Warnging – golden lounge casino – affiliates (warning prior to acquisition by 32Red)

WARNGING – GOLDEN LOUNGE CASINO – AFFILIATES AND PLAYERS

There has been various posts on a number of forums about this casino over the last few months and having been appointed as their UK marketing agency we want to confirm you should be very careful about considering working with this casino.

We were appointed by their marketing director to manage all their online UK marketing including their affiliate programme and display media in March 2009 and having doubled their monthly profit they still have not paid us for the work we delivered through till May 2009, some 8 months later.

Whilst they paid for the first month up front, they have then defaulted on over £37,000 in payments, for media that was agreed, booked and delivered upon.

The business is run through Premier Marketing in Rio Brazil, but invoices take place through a shell in Panama City which means we have no legal recourse through Premier Marketing. The marketing director that appointed us has since left and the CEO/owner of this business is <name removed>.

We have tried to contact <name removed> for the last seven months and he does not respond to us, so we have very little chance of getting our money back.

If you are working on their affiliate programme, I suggest that you be very careful about working with this company as we keep hearing more and more instances of them defaulting on payments. Take down your links, warn your players.

We were recently contacted by another very good Agency in France that is going through the same problem having delivered a lot of players to Golden Lounge - <name removed> has not paid them either. So a big warning to ALL affiliates – do not trust GL, <name removed> is totally untrustworthy and has a long history of not paying suppliers.

That said if you do work with them and they are paying you your commissions please PM me with some contact info that might help us recover our money.

Feel free to contact me about this if you would like to discuss the details.

Uh-oh. Spammer alert. Same post in several threads.

Still, why this thread is here and for the historical record, the OP was right to warn people and as it turns out, shortly after the above was posted, Golden Lounge casino was bought out by 32Red PLC.

As Simmo! wrote, Golden Lounge Casino is now under 32Red PLC management.

So, there is nothing wrong with Golden Lounge Casino (at least now).

Thinking this thread should go to files or the title changed at least.

Per the comments above, I've edited the thread title to indicate that the warning was made before 32Red acquired the property.

To update this, does anyone have information on whether 32Red Plc has honored the debt? I've sent a PM to the original poster, but since the person has not visited the forum since a few days after the post it would be helpful to know if anyone else has knowledge of the situation.
