Most ex-employees of BTD (Casipoea Group), are probably just happy to not work there anymore. I'm surprised we don't hear more disgruntled employees. This could be because there aren't many to complain (approx. 18 people whilst I was there; including the R&D team for their proprietary software) and those who have stayed (having put up with such issues as not being paid themselves for several months) take the abuse dished out in a manner that we see some battered spouses do, (I apologise for the gross comparison).

I have no evidence they are going bankrupt, but there are many stories like mine and rumours of bankruptcy, and far worse. After putting up with them for a miserable 6 months back in 2007, I left them stating moral grounds.

In my eight fast & fun years in our industry, BTD has been the most difficult experience. I did learn from the experience - to appreciate working with/for legitimate companies, with a good supportive structure and a long term view for business.

If you do work or play with them fair enough.
I hope your experience is a fruitful and pleasant one.
    Just be careful!

Default same old sad story - why does he keep getting away with it???

elgoog, yes unfortunately I know about ''the professor''

I agree with the previous post from Shah. A lot of employees still need to get paid for months. Then when they wanted to leave they were threathened!!

For sure NOT a pleasant work environment.

As far as I know a certain Billy (William) and an Assaf are supposed to work there.

Another thing I know is that one of their white label clients is trying to reach them for months and can't seem to get a reply. He can't enter his stats never received any revenue they just took all the money and then left him hanging there. No help what so ever. And the sadest thing off all is that this gentleman's wife is dying in a hospice.
    J. May God give you strength in these difficult times. You know where to find me if you need anything.

ps the post in dutch was just about how they could contact anyone at BTD - CasinoPea - etc....

Has anyone looked at this yet? Vegascasino21

    Let me know your views.

Default Beware BeTheDealer Brands are still active and sucking money

I'd like to put an end to this thread and to say to those who want a 'proof' that BeTheDealer is a rogue casino the following:

I worked there and finally left in March 2010. Moshe owes us several months of payment. I worked unpaid between September 2009 - March 2010, like most of the employees. Every day they were telling us how new projects were coming through several deals, that the problems would be solved through 'super - Giant' deals that were waiting to finalise, but they never arrived and a whole bunch of lies, for example ''oh ..the payment from this deal was sent by mistake to a wrong account number, so please wait another 10 days" or "the Greek guy who was supposed to come to Cyprus to sign a deal couldn't fly because his father went to the hospital at that day..h will fly next week" or "Moshe is going through the process of getting a business loan.. stay where you are and there is a good chance to get your money. if not, then you will be the last in the queue to receive payment".

We were ordered to do anything not to pay the customers, all tournaments were flawed, no payment of jackpots and many many more. The funniest of all was the New Years email we received by the General Manager:

    ===============
    Dear colleagues

I want to wish you and your families a Happy and Successful New 2010
Year on behalf of the company, Moshe and myself!

I also want to thank you for all the hard work, dedication and
understanding during the past 2009 year. We had some difficult times
in the past several months, which with joined efforts from all of us,
we managed to put behind us. It takes a very special team to overcome
the challnges we overcame together, thank you for being that team.

I also want to update you that we have moved forward with several very
important projects, which will bring in the next several weeks, during
January, the much needed funding, and will set the basis for continued
success of the company. Moshe and I are certain that from the month of
January and onwards, we will begin the growth of the company again,
which will come from several white label project we are finalising and various other sources.

Once again, thank you and best wishes for the holidays!

    Best regards

    XXXXXX
    ====================

WHAT A JOKE!!! Everyone was loughing with this pathetic email. The company was in the brick of collapse and the GM was dreaming that "January and onwards, we will begin the growth of the company again..". Finally she sent her "Best Wishes" for the Most Miserable and Empty Christmas they ever delivered to us, including some of my colleagues who had to feed 4 kids and had no other job alternatives.

Casiopea group doesnt exist anymore (and why should it exist) since it was only a service provider to CVONNETNV. However the operations are kept alive due to Moshe's close friends.
Beware of his teeth they are still sharp.

First of all, this thread is pretty close to a year old.

Secondly, the thread was started by a new member posted on the date of registration, and the poster posted a total of 2 posts and never returned again.

We have seen this time and again here, but this kind of stuff usually makes us all wonder if there is any truth to the story, just sour grapes or someone having a bad day lashing out.

MANY many of us here know and would agree that BeTheDealer properties have certainly had their fair share of issues over the years and my personal opinion of them is that they can not be trusted....

...BUT, the original poster came here and started spouting off about them on the verge of bankruptcy and when asked for proof of that very bold statement never once responded ever again.

I understand that you feel you have been wronged by them as an employee, and possibly could shed some additional light on their internal business practices, however I need to caution you that the posting of private emails in their entirety is frowned upon here.

Sorry to say they are right BTD is bad to the bone - We still haven't been paid and its not just us, I know of several suppliers. In a way its good to bring this thread up every few months to ensure no one misses this.

Also I have heard he is or has launched something new so watch out although I am yet to work out what it is but keeping my eye out

Perhaps BTD owner didn't know what kind of problem he gives out unto himself. This thread is just only a proof not to give trust to the said company and how the past and former employee's badly hurt with such bad deeds!

Whilst I totally agree with you Rick in almost all cases, but In this instance I actually believe it is warranted in order to name and shame these guys.
How can people just continue getting away with this sort of thing all of the time. Inevitably they close one brand and them pop up with another brand soon after and do the same thing, so as far as I am concerned - the owners full names should be mentioned too!!!!
