I am a client of europacasino. Having played a lot on this casino, I became "vip bronze”. Until now, with that status you could play on videopoker to fulfill wagering requirements.
I recently played videopoker on this casino. I played 2,000 €, got some bonus and comps. Luck smiled at me a little, since I found myself at the head of €10,000. I tried to make withdrawals. Casino Software – playtech - reported that I would have to continue playing to fulfill my wagering requirements. So I did, until the software accepted my withdrawals.
A few days later, as usual, the casino asked me to attest my card deposits. I sent my signed, and I waited.
Three days later I received a phone call home. They informed me that the casino had changed its terms and conditions in November. Now for “bronze vip”, the videopoker did no more in games to meet the wagering requirements . It should be "silver vip." Because I was a good client, they proposed to pay 2,000 out of 10,000 I had won! Of course I refused.
Moments later, I received the following email:
"Accordingly, having breached the terms and conditions concerning your last bonus, your gain of 10 000 € will be canceled, and your last deposit of 150?, Credited to your credit card"
(I should add that I did not ask for bonuses, and I was not informed of changes in their terms and conditions)Fortunately, I had the reflex to make a screenshot of my account history
The day after, I went back on the casino and there, to my surprise, I saw that my account had been falsified:- My withdrawal of € 8,000 had disappeared! - Incidentally, my withdrawal of € 2,000 was "declined". Usually, when a withdrawal is declined, the funds
are returned to the customer's account. But my account was set to 0. Thus they hijacked € 10,000 in a few seconds. Two questions which seem serious:
Is it reasonable that a casino could confiscate your winings like that?
Is it normal that the software provider - playtech -enables casinos to make disappear
events that have occured?
