had domain closed for 2 days because a few persons complained that it had sent spam email.. turned out not to be true but if your not with a good registrar your biz can be turned off for several days and you loosing money and worst some registrars does not investigate!

today I just heard one major affiliate program got cut of for a few days and they used godaddy.com (had to pay a fee of $200 and fax papers that they never spammed or would spam) so watch out and if you have affiliates then have a backupsite ready to send affiliate traffic to!

this new trick is getting out of hand and joker.com/godaddy.com has had a lot of cases lately where they did not investigate but rather made a few bucks!

Trying to move my domain my new host only used joker so I transfered... big mistake... have to wait 60 days before i can trasfer!

I think it's a mistake to use a hosting company to register domains. They all seem to make difficulties when you want to move.

On a couple of occasions in the past I've had to help clients by buying a second domain and getting a mirror site hosted with that. When the original name got transferred, we aliased it to the mirror.
