Red face ways to attract and retain traffic

I've recently joined a gambling affiliate program and am looking for advice on the best ways to attract and retain traffic. What marketing strategies have worked well for you?

Diversify Your Traffic Sources for Better Affiliate Success
One key strategy I've found to be effective in the gambling affiliate space is diversifying your traffic sources. Relying on a single channel can be risky, as changes in algorithms or policies can drastically impact your earnings. Instead, focus on a mix of sources such as SEO, paid advertising, social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships. This not only helps stabilize your traffic but also allows you to reach a broader audience. By analyzing the performance of each channel, you can optimize your efforts and allocate resources where they yield the best results. Has anyone else experienced the benefits of traffic diversification?

    Hi there,

Apologies if I might be wrong, but the second half of your post seems like something chat GPT might have written

If we're talking about a "regular" affiliate website - most of your registering and depositing players will likely come from Google and other search engines.
In terms of your strategy (i.e. keyword strategy) this may vary on your GEO and the brands you are working with and will also change over time.

I personally also found YouTube to be a good source to attract players, #2 after organic traffic.

Social media and mailing lists haven't been effective for me. Then again, I am nor expert at those and haven't devoted a lot of time to them either.

I do agree that it feels ChatGPT generated.

But for me, SEO has been more sole focus and the method that is the most sustainable and probably the cheapest to start with (Although if you want to scale it, you need a budget to invest in content and backlinks).

    Hi Adam,

Can I ask you for some advice, since you have more experience in the gambling sector. You said that, if you want to scale the affiliate business, you need to invest in content and backlinks. What I want to know is what type of content has worked for you.

I have had success with seo articles but my website took a few hits after the march google update. So I started looking into alternatives. Video content is one thing which I am doing now. It has been going very slowly but this is also because my video creator talent is very limited. Would you recommend I invest in a professional video content creator or should I drop video content and try something else? I have my budget set aside and for the second half of the year I would like to make this investment. And a second opinion would help a lot.

    Thank you.

I think you might have asked the question and accidentally copied something you were investigating or an AI-generated response?

In any case, what you mentioned in your second paragraph is generally correct. Diversifying your traffic sources is reasonable, but not all sources have the same value or are suitable for your business (consider, for example, the differences based on your GEO). SEO is a must, but it's a whole world, and the way to approach it will depend heavily on your site's characteristics, your resources, and your specific goals. The usefulness of using social media (including YouTube) will depend on your current audience/the audience you want to reach, and the feasibility of using email marketing depends on whether you already have at least a small email list.

Without more information, I would focus heavily on SEO and making the most beneficial deals while working to improve your content/offers as much as possible. It's not just about attracting people to your site, but also giving them a reason to stay.
