Weird observation after PR change !

Dear all

One of my sites http://iddaalar.com has raised to PR3 from PR2 and statistics has been falling since the PR increase (at the last PR update pf Google). Regarding the same Gogle PR update, my other site http://CasinoRecommender.com has decreased to PR2 from PR3 but statustics did not tend to fall. Contraversely, it tends to increase. Can anyone explain this situation to me and everybody ? Also if other people experiencing similar condition, please share with us. I think this shows that traffic is not directly linked with the PR value.

I had a site that got completely done over by Penguin on the same week that they increased the PR so you are not alone but I knew traffic was not directly linked to PR value anyway. For the site I am referring to it makes sense the PR increased, its a quality site with quality content but the penguin updates also made sense, too much spammy anchor text elsewhere so I lost my SERPS and therefore my traffic so it all makes sense. The last PR update just happened to be around the same time as the penguin update.

This is more proof (that many many seo wannabes don't want potential clients to know) that the little green bar is NOT SERPS Ranking...

PR was never connected to SERPs.

All that PR shows is the amount of juice that is passed by the backlinks you have on other websites. A rise in PR never guarantees a rise in SERP for a particular keyword.

Ahhhhh....you know that and I know that.....but the seo wannabes want potential clients to THINK that it is....since many of them can manipulate the little green bar easier than actually getting a clients site to rank well in the serps.

My PR for home page remain zero and some inner pages got PR2 and 1. I honestly don't understand but yes good news for me that my traffic is 3 times now and increasing from that day on when i almost decided to sell my site it happened at the right time.

my pr3 went to pr0 after Penguin and traffic is up 30% .Pr is not the only factor and less important now than maybe year or so ago.
