I think you should consider offering a pick or two without registering.

Sort of a teaser, or to show prospects the value of joining.

Welcome and good luck with the site.

I'd get rid of that link exchange in your footer straight away, or at the very least the ones to directories and that top 50 soccer picks one

    PROS :
I like the logo on your site.
I like the page at blogabet.

    CONS :
Nearly all the other content is low quality and appears "spun" - or not native english.
I would not register with an email in order to see picks, as I hate receiving spam or mail from lists I didn't signup for.

    OVERALL :
It's a low content site with nothing compelling me to stay having landed there.
I would not bookmark it - or return.

I like the design of your website. A simple and clean webdesign.

Change the favicon. Now you have the standard Joomla favicon. Make one of your logo.

I like the site as well, easy on the eyes.

I agree with Rick, it would be good to see either a sample of your tips, either 1 or 2 that can be viewed without registering, or perhaps show your past picks on the bet stats page?

The betting guides are interesting to read, though the live casino article feels out of place. I think more sports related betting content in that section would be useful. Maybe some things like bankroll management or some other tips that you can give to new punters, or explaining the difference between the various odds formats, some general guides for football betting?

Like I said though, I like the site and wish you the best of luck!

I like that you specialise in Asian Handicaps and seem to recognize that you are going after a more sophisticated kind of punter with relevant banners (there are too many though, it makes it obvious that you care more about getting referrals rather than providing good content for the player).

The design of the site is good and definitely has promise - it looks professional and the logo is great.

I wouldn't ever register at a site like this that forced me to do so to see the content as a user just knows they are going to get spammed - you need to get the user's trust and then try and get them to register. Even if you aren't going to spam them, the user thinks you will. I also don't think that you would convert punters who are interested in Asian Handicaps by sending them advertising emails but that's just a gut feeling so I would focus on converting them within your posts with links to odds and giving an easy explanation of how you place the bet (I don't bet on them because I wouldn't be certain that I was making the right bet, and I'm a sports better!). If you want to build an email list, maybe have a box that offers to send one email per week of your best bet of the week? That way the user knows that you aren't going to send them 10 emails per day. Even do multiple lists that offer the user to send them either your best bet of the week or every bet you post so the choice is with them how much they are contacted? I suggest you spend some time trying to work out how you think that you will convert the traffic and focus on this.

I would also add your proofed previous picks on the site and not just send the traffic to blogabet so prominently which has it's own affiliate links (of course include a link, but I'd make it less of a focus e.g. picture of recent tips, then a small link for people who want to check).

I would also not have the live casino content on the Betting Theory section - it's not betting theory and if someone looking for betting theory saw it I think they would leave the site. I'd include sophisticated topics such as different bankroll strategies, the exact theory of how Asian handicaps work and how you can get an extra edge betting on them rather than 1x2 so that if you do happen to get a punter on your site who is new to Asian handicaps they will find your site useful to them and as such look at betting on them.

I'd remove Contact/Advertise, Sitemap, Links from the main header and put them in the footer as they aren't relevant to the majority of users on your site.

    Good luck!

Hello and thanks for the tip.
Would you like to tell me the reason why?

well for starters link exchanges like that are pretty crap in value, but now google clamp down more on obvious link exchanges

you need to think about the user, what benefit does a link to a gambling section of a directory give your users? none at all. they aren't even fair exchanges, you give away a homepage link for a link back burried in some sub section that no one will ever see.

Thanks for the info, and the tip.

    I made some changes:
    - Changed favicon
    - Created bet stats page, with all tips by month
    - Facebook page like box added
    - Gambling articles, everything on gambling outside asian handicap
