Lightbulb What do you think ?

Don't you also think that, if SEO advisors or companies (except Coaches because they earn 2nd Tier commission over you!) know everyting right and can make you reach high, why not they spend all of their times to themselves!?! By building tens of hundreds of successful sites. It is the identical illusion of Economists! If they all know the best, then they do not need us! And make a fortune! Let's think again and again...

I think there are some genuine experts who reveal actual valuable information, because of one or multiple of the following reasons:

*They are trying to build a reputation for themselves as an expert so that they can get more people linking to them, mentioning them, and through that, get more business.
*They want to receive recognition for the knowledge and expertise that they have.
*They may have gained their expertise from other experts sharing openly on the web and in this spirit wish to contribute to the ongoing sharing and proliferating of knowledge on the web
*They may find teaching, coaching to be a more rewarding job than simply creating and optimizing sites. Money is not the only factor which makes a career rewarding.

With that being said, you're right to question any coach or mentor's motivation and to double check info your receive via multiple sources.

I think Louis is pretty much nailing the reasons that experts have for sharing their knowledge - peer recognition has huge value - both for your ego and your wallet

    Hi CR,

    Extending your question:

Why don't all real estate agents become property developers?
Why are many sports coaches NOT former players?
Why don't music teachers write pop songs or go on American Idol?

In the above examples, some do of course but we all have a natural specialization and splitting that focus too much means that no progress is made in any direction.

In our SEO business across gaming and non-gaming niches (I own TrafficPlanet.com, for instance), we are specialists in that and to divert our attention to becoming gambling/forex/adult/binary options/payday loan/dating/weight loss/acne removal/debt consolidation (etc etc - see how many lucrative niches there are when you think about it!) affiliates would require a totally different time/resource focus to develop specialisation in that/those.

There just are not enough hours in the day.

Same goes for Conversion Optimization specialists.

If they know how to convert traffic into buyers, why not do that with their own sites rather than sell their consulting services? Some may but their natural strength is in what they do.

    Hi Terry,

    Thanks for the valuable contributions. Relating your extends, please find my contributions also;

    - Well-earning real estate commissioners are all become developers (Ex:// Donald Trump )
    - Being a sport coach does not require being a footballer. Even good former players are not good at Coaching. Even they are not doing Coaching. Ex:/ Pele but a sports teacher may become a great Coach. Ex: Jose Maurinho (sorry for misspelling if it is done)
    - Being a music teacher (knowledge level) does not mean a good marketing. Being a star firstly needs marketing according to me because it is a matter of branding.

Anyway, if i wrote something wrong please accept my apologies.

    Wkr,
    Hussein,
    CR
